Dear experts,

I'm not very familiar wif excel macro. I face a problem, and i dunno whether excel macro can solve my problem or not, if can kindly advise me... thanks in advances.
I need to move a set of data from one column to another column base on the row 1 description.

e.g: For column A data is PO number and have to move to column B, and column B is Date and have to move to column A.

Is there any marco function can do this for me???

pls advise... TQTQTQ notworthy.gif

So you're shifting one column to the right, does it have to be in the same row?
If it doesn't then it's easy, you don't even need a macro

Just cut Cell A and paste after the Cell B.

1. move all data from column a to column c (temporary).
2. move all data from column b to column a.
3. move the data from c to b.

or is it the arrangement of the data is not in an organized matter?

If you can do it manually, then go to Tools > Macro > Record a New Macro & record your macro. To view your macro, hit ALT F8 > Edit.

Good Luck.

yeah, don't even need a macro. like HMMaster said, use another cell to move first and then after that move it to that cell. do u have any difficulties on that?

Based on the description of boon77 it sounds more like swapping

Since normal excel formula can't do cell moving/shifting/swapping for you, I'm afraid you'll have to use Macro script
