Sharpen your skills with online matches it's the fastest way to be good.

The cast of Mario Kart 8 will experience the sporting luxury and precision of German engineering later this month when a trio of Mercedes-Benz cars come to the Wii U game as downloadable content.

Included in the free Mercedes-Benz add-on for Mario Kart 8 are the 2014 GLA SUV, 1934 W25 Silver Arrow and 1957 300 SL Roadster. The new cars are expected to launch Aug. 27 in Japan and will kick off a four week-long online competition called the Mercedes Cup.
