Mario Kart 8 is an upcoming Mario Kart game for the Wii U, confirmed to be released in the
30th of May 2014 .
The game is the eighth installment in the mainstream series, and eleventh overall in the Mario Kart series.
Anti-gravity, a new feature for the Mario Kart series, has been confirmed. Bikes, gliders, and underwater driving are also confirmed to return.

I am also amazed that the tracks are given such a detailed makeover from the original versions. Couldn't hear the music properly from the videos, so can't say how they improve, but I am liking it. Not sure if I like Mario & Sonic's Moo Moo Meadow's theme or Mario Kart 8's version though.
