Arsenal should forget the UCL, concentrate on FA Cup and BPL. this is the only 2 cups they have chances to win.

Rosicky just extended his contract. I still can't think of anyone who is in the mould of him. A give-and-move sort of player.

QUOTE Arsenal's Bacary Sagna wants £24m deal to stay at the Emirates The France international right-back is out of contract at the end of the season. And a host of top clubs at home and abroad - including Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea - are keen on landing Sagna, 31. The interested clubs are understood to be willing to pay him a contract worth £20m NET over the next four years. That would add up to around £100,000-a-week, but the Gunners have only come up with a deal at his current terms of £60,000-a-week for two more seasons. A source close to Sagna said: “He will leave 100 per cent for sure unless Arsenal wake up in the next couple of months and offer him new good terms. “It would have to be in the region of £6m a season on a three to four year contract, plus a signing-on fee of around £6m. “He wants to finish his career at Arsenal as long as the board give him the right deal.” Although fans might feel Sagna is asking a lot, the popular star feels he has not been treated fairly, with the club not rewarding him for his loyalty. He resisted overtures to join Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho at Inter and Real Madrid, with both clubs still keen on the player and planning to offer a £20m wage deal. |
