QUOTE(MrUbikeledek @ Feb 13 2014, 09:20 AM) The real killer is the altitude. Thin oxygen cause the climber to get tired quickly. Your body react to the thin oxygen by reducing you metabolic rate and telling you to reduce your oxygen consumption by taking a rest. Many succumb and laid down to rest to which they never wake. You need an iron will to defy your biological system and go on. yeah. some just virtually sleep to death. they never wake up |

QUOTE(gheyfriend @ Feb 13 2014, 10:07 AM) i heard u ppl sometimes paid millions just to b able to climb everest, so if they ever see someone injured, they just pass it and continue their hike... just curious, how to help? even have the will to help i dont think can. It is hard enough to manage on your own yet you are trying to take on the burden of 2 people on yourself? that's suicide. Help if they need provision such as food or drinks ( if i have enough for my own) but if she is injured and expect me to carry, im so sorry i cant. Besides climbers already knew the risk and their own their own.what would u do? abandon your journey n help to save a life or continue your journey? |
