Pioneer HU built in crossover doesn't help much. I recomemend still get a active crossover. I myself tested below 6xxx series model, they was like useless compare to active crossover. So I would said, it can't replace crossover. Well, the feature is useful without amp setting. smile.gif

they r always useless.. even mine also don use.. but now planning 2 run crossover from my amp.. still thinking is it recomended o not.. unsure.gif

To me an active crossover is a must. Really different feel. Is like a booster of the quality of ICE. smile.gif just my POV.

if your HU can do band pass then i would recommend to use the HU crossover... first hand crossing the signal from the source then come out tp be amplify is always better than a external e.crossover... cuz the signal is more clean...

If budget really tight, not going to high end, cannot differentiate what is 20hz and what is 30hz, 5750 will be a good choice. Colourful display, 3 pre-outs, price range 550-700, more user frinedly compare to other brands.

When have alot money to waste on ICE, then sure higher end series is good and others are bad, what if a person is tight on budget? Anyway entertainment is a very subjective topic. There's no absolute answer for it. Some rich 'yee sai jo' will buy a rm5000 HU and say it is cheap but for people that earn rm1k per month will say a rm500 HU is good for him already.
