Hello, I wonder if there's anyone of you interested or done some hardcore mac modding before. ie, cable cutting/soldering, Proc overclock, GPU modding ( OMFG nVidia 7800GT flash!!!), PSU modding, casing moding and etc. Just post here to share. My experience is: PM G3 ATX convertion. PM G4 Media Bay, Proc Upgrade, GPU (FX5200) and IDE cable mod.

dun think so lar. i still havnt got much info yet. but according to source the mobo needs different chips to drive the new "brain", so better stick with core duo.

bro... have to modify the heat sink also. dun overheat ur macmini lar. scary. read more about other ppl's mod. should have plenty off ppl done the upgrade already.

nothing much to do on laptops. most hardcore modding are done on desktop. the most crazy i've are iBook --> iTable mod.

no, inside Cube is very tight also. their proc dun use fan. so can take it as example.
