yes, take last year's. Tell them when you left, your HR forgot to give you. Also, you can let them see only but don't give them a copy. Tell them it's a personal right not to give a copy.

I'am not in the banking line of work but whole of my changing career history there's no company ever asking for a previous payslip. Is this the current job application trend?

some co do request a copy of your payslips, some don't.

im not sure why but maybe u r just lucky not having to confront those that do.

Owh lucky me.
Sucks for those company whom asking tho, IMO previous payslip is personal and the future offer should be judge based on skill, portfolio, or experience.

Bank statement would be the only option, since you need it so urgently.

As much as you think it is P&C document, most hiring companies dont subscribe to this. Why else do you think they ask for details on your father/mother/sister as these are clearly not relevant?

company apa yang minta payslip ni? aku dah tukar2 3 companies. takde yang minta payslip.

there are things you should say during the interview. "i want to know whether this company is a good fit for me, and the company wants me to be one of its employee before i go on and negotiate the salary & benefits term."

first of all, in future please keep your payslips. u never know when u need them like apply job or loan. whether u think its pp&x and duwan to give is another matter.

just go for the interview, and tell them about ur situation if they ask for payslip, and if there is alternative document to give them the "assurance" they need.

if you have an old one you can take it and show. its not 100% guarantee that (if) they offer you they will totally base on that payslip anyway.

nowadays company usually pay max 20% from your previous company..
unless you have special skill and applying higher position than previous job..
that why they ask payslip to prove your previous income..
