Talking about tomorrow game against Swansea, its gono be a tough tough game. Watched the highlight of Swansea vs Napoli, just the first half Swan had lots of shot on target, but all were saved.

Player to be watch out should be Dyer and Bony, Dyer is incredible fast cutting from the wing, and his passing and crossing is not bad either. Bony too is very strong in the air, and he can hold the ball and make a sudden long shot.

Now I remember the game earlier this season which ended up 2-2 and Shelvey had good and bad game.

What I remember the most is how Ashley fouled on Coutinho resulted him to be sidelined for few games and for that we lost our only creative player in the team. And for that reason we should punish them. And remember at that also we did not have Suarez. So I leave it to LS7 to end his goal drought

Spurs want to hijack us again on our interest in Yevhen K.

This pathetic team is making me mad. They seem to focus a lot in what we want and try to take it away from us. Botak Levy is very focus on us huh. It's getting personal and I hope to curse his team to finish outside even Europa league. We'll see who wanna joins them.

Well if we get CL and they don't then we have some advantage

Agree that MoTM is Hendo. I guess most of us were right when we said before, that with our current defending form we just need to outscore our opponent. Just glad only one of our two strikers has stopped scoring...

And why did they subb out Shelvey. Imagine if he was still on the pitch second half what would have happened.

Glenno : what do we expect when he hasn't played for more than a month; BR took a gamble by rushing him back. Should have started with Cisso and brought Glen in if necessary

Gerrard : he should always be in our squad but only an excellent manager (without fear or favour) would know when he's better off being subbed or even left on the bench in some games.

Sterling : improving by leaps and bounds; don't understand why he was subbed last night, and not Couts.

Allen : he did a lot of good things last night but don't forget, he was playing against his old club..
*
On Glen: Maybe BR tot he is ready and back to his normal business. But the fact he showed unconvincing performance. Agree Ally should be back until Glenn is ready to challenge him. he is more disciplined

On Gerrard: I guess BR was glad not to sub him before he produced inch perfect to Suarez pass lead to our 4th goal. Player like him can change game with one killer pass.

Sterling: Maybe he needed the rest. But that pass to Sturridge was something from Coutinho manual book

Allen: Well few people have extra motivation last nite. Shelvey n Ngog n Allen (as well as BR) against old club. biggrin.gif

Guys, I think you underestimate Gerrard's defensive skills. How many times in the past we see him put in the right tackle, or made the right cover. Of course at 33+ he needs to slow down now and not go box-to-box as he previously did.
*
I think we need to differentiate between making tackles and having defensive minds. In term of tackles I think Gerrard is among the best in making it at the right timing unless when he got outpaced of course

In term of having defensive mind, he can improve further... that is the ability to read attack, occupy space that may be exploited, tracking dangerous run...

Lol.. 2-0 down first league..

Can someone ask if they still think can win CL

Olympiakos also struggle.. wanna win CL... they think league cup is it.

Even the likes of fergie and jose will find it hard to win the CL.

Again as I said.. hope moyes dont get sack pls..

Loving it

Just want to know... How much you think Sterling would cost for now ?
*
Wait we bought him for how much..... 1-3 million? I thin he easily cost 12 mil.

BTW, anyone read BR comment on our defense in The Sun (Malaysia) on Tuesday. He mentioned that the defense he inherited is uncoachable. hmm.gif
