It's really base on your own preference if you want to subscribe for SOCSO (Generalizing as those fresh grad with 3k as first pay salary). I for one do not see what is the problem with paying a relatively small amount to get yourself covered. Let's not talk about death cause that's like abit too over, though it can happen during work. laugh.gif You die, at least you no need waste money on medical expenses. If you paralyzed? You can't work, you still need to feed yourself and your family. That would be suck as hell as you can't work to provide to your family. With that insurance, at least it cover some, if not all of your family expenses.

Work with high risk of meeting an accident, I believe most of them bought already. Work with low risk accident? Well there's still chances of you meeting an accident. Accident with you sitting on your chair can be covered as well. Slip disc, this one particular condition can already cost you few tens of thousands if you get it. With RM14.75/month to get yourself covered, I honestly do not see what's stopping you from buying it.

If you save this kind of small amount of money, I reckon you will definitely regret in future.

You don't really have a choice. Once u start to pay then no matter what is your current salary you
still have to continue paying.
