a question...the 7600 core uses which core aH? nv40? or nv41? or nv42? of coz 7600 series run on different architecture la..but hey...if the GS can already go 500mhz (<-- consider stable? wif proper hsf?) then the ultra maybe can push to 550? or 560? thats as good as 7600 edi~ (correct me if im wrong)

hehe..been an ATI user la..only now..alot of LYP forumers are changing my mind! (STOP OC-ing Nvidia's! they're killing ATI LOL)

most of the ultra cores are using NV40... checked sharkware on the review.. but i do guess thats the max core speed it can achieve? at about 500mhz ++ further it'll produce artifact...but 35+gb transfer rate..its awsum la...

but with those stats....7600 seems bang for the buck again~ with the chance of better overclockability...hmmz...wat to do wat to do...back to 12 pipes..

another thing...would you rather choose high core clock + more pipe? or high core clock + lesser pipe? say~ take a GF 6800 with core clock 550mhz 16 pipes and a 7600gs at 560mhz + 12 pipes (etc only...sketchy on nvidias gcard)
