Giant have this TV for sale at RM1188. Any comments if it is worth to buy?

I'm worried the specs say this TV is 852 x 480 Resolution. What does it mean? Cannot play 1980x1024 resolution videos?

F4500 is HD Ready WXGA resolution. This is best for 768 or 720p Astro byond.

F4000 is Wide SD or ED resolution, this TV can still take full HD signal HDMI/Component (1080i/p) , but the screen resolution or NATIVE resolution is best for widescreen SD, means theres downscalling for 1080 inputs.

LOL, no idea what you talking about.

In short can support Full HD SIGNAL from bluray or USB 1080p movie files.

Got 2 model with very different resolution F4500 and F4000.

F4500 is not 852 x 480, that 1 is F4000.

Yes, my mistake. The one I looking at is F4000. So what does 852x480 mean? Picture will be smaller?

PIXEL is bigger.

You have to move away further from the TV for best picture. Not suitable for PC, if you use Bluray picture is not as good, but still can use 1080p signal or from usb port.

For standard astro and DVD, this TV beats any Full HD TV in term of picture clarity with less picture noise.

why all 50" 43" 42" tvs don't have full hd nowadays?

plasma tv is power hungry. but superb movement frame persecond

HD REady plasmas are ENTRY LEVEL Tvs.

Full HD starts somewhere RM2800-3000 these days, eg.Samsung plasma F5500

i think 42"-43" TV doesn't need FHD especially when viewing more than 10 feet.. hehee

FHD is best for 50" TV and above...

However, lg 42" PA4500 is better than samsung 43" F4000.

The F4000 is too greyish in bright room.
