yea that's why i'm confused when ppl say stock is good. come try my brakes then you'll know which is better.

stock akebono brake pads are around the same level as EBC greens, cept more expensive and noisier/more brake dusts.

considering the weight of our car, i'd have more concerns on the tires (stock cc5 are absolutely shit) than brake pads. i can trigger the ABS very easily but the tires just gave up   
shouldn't have anything to do with brake pads

perhaps needs to blead the brake fluid and re-fill?

the way we drive is different, i drive quite normally lol. my aftermarket pads didn't claim to have less brake dust.

who else has noticeable amounts of brake dust while using stock brake pads besides quazacolt?

considering it's just brake fluid, wanna try outside shops? maybe can check out nestum place at jln ipoh if you're staying in KL.

although different car, my experience on cd2 is way better than cc5 except for wet grip as i never really speed much on wet with the new inspira.
cd 2 on the other hand had over 160-180km/h in wet/hard braking on both the iswara/nissan sentra (yes they both using cd2) and never gotten much aqua planing before.

that said, right now my iswara's cd2 is experiencing some aquaplaning above 110-120km/h as it's only 15-25% treads left

dry grip easily cd2, i have better braking distance/stopping/control with the cd2 than the stock cc5 and this feedback is shared among everyone i know that experienced both tires.

NVH i still prefer cd2, although this is a bit hard to compare considering all 3 cars are rather different.
not to mention all 3 car tire sizes/thickness also different already.
and considering the cc5 are new while the cd2 on both cars are worn/aged a lot, it's pretty clear the cd2 wins.

ultimately will i go back to either tires? no.
i'll be moving up to something like advan db, or advan sport, or nitto invo, maybe even GY eagle f1 as2 for my daily ride wheels. or if i don't plan to keep 2 set of wheels (as housing space is running low) i'll just straight away go extreme tires.

it also depends if i can get an indoor parking (so my inspira will take over my iswara completely as daily ride) at my work place and from the looks of it, it seems like i won't be able to get one unless i'm willing to pay premium

odo also 2k only, car 2 months or so, already got brown/black ish "coating" on the rims.
for the iswara, it takes about 3-5 months to get the same amount of brake dusts (during that period i only do regular wash and never bother with the wheels)

can see the edges of the rim getting covered in brake dust already despite i just detailed my car a week ago (which of course include rim cleaning)
