QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Feb 13 2014, 01:16 AM) I dont think gps show the real speed. When I reach around 120km/h AES tembak n report 121km/h. So sapa betul? My garmin nuvi 1250 always report 104-105km/h when i'm crusing at 110km/h. This post has been edited by nicotine: Feb 13 2014, 02:05 AM |

I believe the speedo is accurate. Just that gps reported lower speed. if doing around 120 on speedo were equivalent to gps 115 by right I wont kena aes. As AES or police gives 10km/h buffer iirc. But no, AES reported 121km/h when im doing 120km/h. Kind of accurate wor.sendiri pandai pandai la Not only lala. Same thing happen to my old wila. Gps report 84-86. I do 90. Redline MTL mini review after 540km.
Initially planned to pour in MT85 but kedai tarak stock, so gua pour in mtl. Overall just slightly smoother gear shifting compared to stock. It does not eliminate my issue such as notchy shifting from 1st -2nd. However it does help smoothed out abit. ON MTL I get extra "feedback" which I don't really like. On stock, shifting feels dead/numb/dampened while on MTL I macam can feel gear inside the tranny. Well that my personal preference la. Btw after 32k mileage, stock gb oil looks like kopi peng kau and stinks |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Feb 13 2014, 07:33 PM) i see so this could confirm that lubegard manual does help a ton in smoothing out the gear shifting as compared to stock and possibly using only redline MTL/MT85/90. gotta agree, down shifting memang buttery smooth. Can easily slip into 2nd from 3rd without much effort.although yes, does not eliminate the notchy 1st/2nd gear shifting however 2nd gear almost fully eliminated while 1st gear is a LOT smoother. in fact, i'm a LOT more comfortable downshifting 3 > 2 in high speeds compared to before (well a part of that is also thanks to nzh0920 tips/advises i didn't really gotten any extra "feedback" though, maybe cuz the additive helped smoothen out things further? in fact i kinda want more feedback for a more solid feel which as my budget allows i'll be getting the short shifter with solid aluminum bushings i assume this is your first time changing gear oil on the inspira? i've been advised if i got the budget, changing more frequently on the first 20-50k km is good if i got the budget due to the metal shavings. then again i prefer to just change it slightly earlier with use of additives (eg: lubegard) and yeah from the gb oil drained out, can see a lot of sediments on the drained out oil container. at only 1.7k km, my gb oil is around teh o color, quite clear, however yes it stinks, touching it have very rough feeling of sediments within the oil (eg: sandy feeling) and you can visibly seeing sediments sinking/building at the bottom of the oil container. so i guess my decision to change the gb oil was a good one despite being just less than 1.7k km. Unable to detect visible shaving or sediment due to its color. Macam kopi peng extra kau... black n milky dark brown |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Feb 16 2014, 11:13 PM) i used to write for my own blog and even other blogs/reviews before Sharp 7k cut, blip during shifting maybe can hit 7.2k~7.5k lo. Never try 8k unless sifu k3 got new updated super duper plasma nano timahnium balls mapping. Btw k3 bayar lu berapa to write that? Heeheeheenot that i'm any good and my passion in writing is an on/off thing. oh ya forgot to ask, this mapping already have data for 7k rpm, which means my fuel cut is definitely at 7k rpm right? as i will be taking the opportunity to give a go on mex highway or any damn straight highway (haha nkve/north south need to pay expensive toll and got more traffic) to pull red lines/hard blips towards 8k and to see whats the top speed also XD |

:sweet: Phd and r&d level discussion... so sifuz, in layman term can I assume that the ecu assign mapping dynamically based on load & rpm & speed.

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Feb 21 2014, 04:04 PM) yeah actually i'm not that keen on end hp also, though still curious which one actually yields more. me think u remap way too early jor without knowing much ori characteristic it's more towards how the stock mivec the rpm can rise insanely fast while the new mapping it's like my xw20 EO suddenly got swapped to xw40 ultimately i still get similar speedometer speeds, however i just can't seem to get that insane torque pull/acceleration/rpm climb as before. (but of course, at the expense of stupidly high FC lolz) pretty much as you said la, power dun come for free. and thanks for the wiring diagram, tonight con9lan7firm chabutz chabutz |

QUOTE(botack @ Mar 5 2014, 11:58 PM) http://www.drivingfast.net/car-control/oversteer.htm good stuff bro, now to "fix" the roll part.. does adding those colorful rubber/silicon buffer on the rear spring helps ? Sporty front wheel drive cars are more likely to experience oversteer than a standard car due to the vehicle setup. Dial out the inherent understeer tendencies of a front wheel drive car using clever engineering, and the result is a better 'turn in' and an increased ability to oversteer due to the naturally light rear. In this case, it is usually possible to accelerate out of the oversteer situation, using the rearward weight transfer to actively increase levels of grip at the back. Front wheel drive cars are especially prone to lift off oversteer due to the forward weight transfer combined with light rear end. |
