tak kilat bro, not as kilat as myvi ebony black, or solid black. tranquility black had too much metallic speck on it, black gloss not as deep as those solid black macam toyoda or honda mia or mybi black.

gua tested the same meg stuff on my bini and sis ebony black myvi's (3 year and 5 year), my lala kalah 9 street.

for the pad agak agak can liou.  thumbup.gif
*
OH that sohai metallic shit lol.
my solution is poorboy's blackhole. made the car more black and covered up some of the metallic shimmering which hindered the black gloss.

maybe can let you try a bit someday. the megs applicator pad that i used, now become black ish liao cuz of the dark colored surfactants/fillers sweat.gif

i was already hunting for good fillter/glaze prior to even having the black lala because saw comments from a lot of people regarding proton's tranquility black sweat.gif

I think no matter what you do /use also useless for tranquility black due to the excessive metallic speck, filler only fill up minor swirl mark to enhance the slickness and glossiness but not the deepness in fact meg polish or liquid wax could act as an filler.

To get deep gloss, I believe the only answer is solid black. U try look at those solid black fake lala, honda, toyoda or merz, those black look so darn deep and mesmerizing hehehe
*
bro, it has coloring agents too as again, my applicator pads became black in color lol. (it is meant for dark colored car particularly black, dark red/blue)

and yes it does help on the color depth. doesn't solve it entirely (obviously) however it helps nod.gif

and no, for really solid deep gloss (unless you're referring to color depth/richness), color aside it is the correction steps (compound, polishing) that counts biggrin.gif

Bro selinix, battery last 2 years very give face d. It's maintenance free wei......
*
no it's not. personally i HATE brake dusts. better if absolutely none (which is impossible)'

selinix
also for the ramcar, if you cheapjing enough you can open up the cover and replace the battery acid, got people report that it can last up to 3 years using this method.

Why only RAMCAR ? if works, all will work !! Pls consult YAB for final conclusion
*
not sure bout other brands, but ramcar battery is not truly mf, it's just a sealed wet battery.

real mf battery like trane is dry/powder based (silver calcium?), no liquid/battery acid inside. however damn heavy.

top up or drain and refill lo
if drain may need to jump start/trickle charge as the charged electron is lost

Hurmm..sometime free maintenance also used liquid, since last i change to new one brand century the shop fill in the liquid inside before install but i heard not normal water battery.then they conceal back with the sticker or somebody can reconfirm back what type of the liquid?  icon_question.gif ones of friend said it is distilled water, but doubt since spill of it damage the paper cardboard like normal acid battery .
*
battery water is basically distilled water with very minor mineral contents since the distillation process not pure enough (iinm la)
the acid is formed after the electrolysis process is done, which will render almost 40% of the liquid to become sulfuric acid while the rest still being water.

so yeah, it is just normal distilled water. if you worry so much, go petrol station buy battery water then smile.gif

Wah Lan Eh ! fake YAB detected ! Impersonator found.....BEWARE
New Battery has to be filled with Acid not water ....
for maintenance , add distilled water to it ; as for MF battery, add money to buy new one..
*
YAB is my idol wub.gif

but anyways it looks like only small amount of sulfur is required? maybe none if you don't drain it too much?

kroger epsom salt

alum "aluminum sulfate"

if it comes down to that, can start finding "acid" wink.gif

again, our ramcar are NOT true MF batteries.

Eh, anyone here pasang reverse camera without changing HU

The VAPS on Clarion really nice.
*
its basically time alignment (what other manufacturers like alpine/pioneer calls it), and without proper setup time alignment is just... a bit fake tongue.gif

that said, i don't even like time alignment even with proper setups so eh... just a personal preference that i turned it off XD

Not ABS indicator seen....but i did`t brake that hard...till need ABS.....

well the only probable issue would be warped disc rotors which you could probably bring it up to Proton SC and make a claim to replace

Just for your info ... ABS and ASC is ONE SAME THING! .. i mean its one module..

its just .. ABS dun have ASC function..
or ASC that incoperated ABS functions... No .. u wont have ASC without ABS .. basically ASC is an enhanced version of ABS ..

ABS will be faulty if .. sensor died .. circuit die... pump koed ... no matter which one KO .. the ASC wont work as well..

AND HELL NO IM NOT YAB
*
LOL.

thanks again for the elaboration biggrin.gif

Hi All,

Can i ask abt mivec engine? When i stop at traffic light the press the pedal the RPM increase from 1K to 3K++ but the power come very slow?

It this is normal for mivel CVT?
*
i don't think it's slow at all. even the dyno graphs proven that our torque comes in astonishingly early.
i can't say the same for CVT, but the amount of wheel spins i experience even at second gear is just absurd whenever i want to drag the car/go for spirited driving which still scares me even to this day sweat.gif

many would claim for a remap first, or extractor change, however i've yet to do any of those and it constantly kept me curious/wanting to find out how would it be once i have done them (hey LCP too!)

oh no need take it out, you can roughly measure it, you should be able to see the pad thickness without taking out ya wheels.

looks like a good 5+mm while maybe just less than a cm or so?

can see the edges of the rim getting covered in brake dust already despite i just detailed my car a week ago (which of course include rim cleaning)

Those yellowish brown color stuffs are brake dust?

My rim edge always covered with those sad.gif

yea pretty much. hard to scrub as well unless you have products that specifically deals with brake dust (car pro ironx, sonax xtreme wheel cleaner plus full effect to name a few wink.gif )
