 Morning gym anyone?

Anyone going gym in the morning fir strength training?

I did during my uni years. It seems tiring for some but it's actually not. what I did was weightlifting from 8 am till 10 am and then go to class.

Have a short nap during lunch and eat a not so heavy lunch to prevent sleepiness. After couple of weeks doing that, I really loved doing morning training.

I love going to the gym in the morning, but the tradeoff is having to wake at 6am. I workout from 6:30am to 8:30am. Shower then drive to work.

The whole gym is so empty it's so awesome.

It does add that zen factor to your training - peaceful, quiet and empty.

2 hr of complete strength training is just enviable,I am 24 year old and after 1 hr and half I tak boleh tahan lagi...haha...need to learn from you guys and improve

I normally hit morning gym sessions on weekends and holidays. Tried it on work days and found it too taxing and tired esp after lunch.

I used to go in the morning b4 goin to work, also bcos at night gym very crowded. Now jus changing job can't make it anymore. Beside I want bring along my clothes and taking lrt to gym then go work.

Is that you on your profile pic?if hit gym on weekend can get that "ripped",you really got strong male hormone and very good gene hehe

Big brother I am totally opposite from you,I work till 10pm then exercise(do not claim my routine as workout) at 10.30pm till 12 am for continuous 6 months already,but can say still no gain and look small hehe but a bit of muscular la haha

Nah mate. I go morning sessions on weekends. But every other weekday I gym out in the evenings. No scheduled rest days.

i prefer morning workout. Less people or alone, and also save your time smile.gif. What you gonna do if you do not work out in the early morning....sleeping for extra one hour? hehe...

Haha, ya before I got my new job I was working out in the morning bcos walking distance. Right now if I wanna go in the morning, I have to go out super early ans bring my work suit to kenanga gym there, after workout go in office.

yup i usually workout at night 10-12 then straight go to sleep
but i will try to workout in the morning if i have time and see how it goes
cuz i feel more energetic and fresh in the morning
