well, i know tis 6 years ago, the radiation kinda sapu ur brain cell bits by bits. they say ur memory will become weak, i can see why

i was wondering, what do i eat/do to regain.. er.. brain cell

handphone caused brain tumor. dun use it!

actually nothing you can do to regen ur brain cells wan la. try eat more "brain food" ginko, berries. etc

our body cell can reproduce. well, mostly... i think same applies for brain.... until of course when we're old, our body function cease to work well, and cell begin to fail in "self repair"

Anyway, what radiation are u talking about? handphone radiation is so much more harmful, u should worry about that first..

well there's one way to greatly reduce EM radiation is to use LCD...expensive but investment of a lifetime...

felt the impact of it everynow and then

stay away from the back of the CRT monitor where the EM is the strongest...

Computers really do kill brain cells. This post proves it.

But seriously, how about the EM coming from all around us? Power lines, handphones, kitchen appliances, television? People lose memory because they don't use it. If you want to remember something, USE it. For example, if you dial phone numbers manually instead of using the phonebook function, you WILL remember the numbers you dial frequently.

One of my friends actually forgot their own home number.

sometimes i even forget my own hp number, house tel. number and my parents number..

we too rely on human-made memory already..

no wonder why the senior lowyatian are spamming more stupid post

Brain? maybe if you stay on your pc without resting your eyes.......

Lcd doesn't produce radiation because it's not using Tube.Maybe a lil amount of radiation....

AFAIK LCD uses crystal to glow and display...so unless u're superman, u will be be affected much by the 'crystal'...hehe

truth in that.

exposure to places like LYN will kill brain cells at an exponential rate.

Within 2 weeks you'll start making spelling mistakes.
Within a month you'll lose sentence coherence.
Within a year you'll forget your native tounge and speak only in incomprehensible LYNguage.

Your algebraic skills will be reduced to nothing within 87 hours of exposure.
After 100 hours you'll loose basic addition subtraction skills and will have to rely on your handphones to know the product of 87x6.

p/s : contrary to popular belief, brain cells can't be replaced. You can strengthen connections between neurons (by thinking, aka using the brain), but once you lose one (either from disuse, brain trauma, radiaton, whatever), that's it. You ain't getting it back.

AFAIK, LCD do emit some radiation, just lower than the CRT (cathode ray tube), CRT is something like laser, which shoots ions, thats why the radiation is so high.

But comparing to handphone, you can feel the different immediately, very easy just talk to your friend with handphone for 20minitues, and you will feel your ears are burning, I even do a study on this radiation, by using thermographic, you actually see your brain from green become red, your brain are microwave toost, I tell you...

Its truth that playing computer can make ones become stupid, memory fading away (I am a good example, sometimes it good sometimes it worst), thats the sacrifice you must made... but wherever you work you will use a lot of computer, so face it, you need computer even if you are not a gamer or a programmer.
