Yeah, the 30 day version is still available, only the 60 day seems to be gone.

Glad that I booked it yesterday minutes before a totally crazy F1 race started. That alone was worth the RM 65.

Lets see how long Astro offers it, surely a good source of income.

At the moment they have the EPL pack for RM 45 and the sports mega pack for RM 65. I prefer the mega pack, lets see how long it is available.

Every Saturday 10:30 pm there is a free Bundesliga match on 801. Certainly no top teams like Bayern or Dortmund but I like to watch. Otherwise you need one of the mentioned packages.

And there are a couple of non-sports channels free now until 26th Jan. Just saw the advertisement when my kids watch 344, so I dont know which exactly.

Just the Saturday after I wrote this there is NO Bundesliga match. Today they show a crap FA Cup match instead, West Ham vs Doncaster

But if this all continues, I really could change to Astro, RM 84 if you use it every month is great. But it hopefully will not continue and so I asked "Why you kicked out Eurosport of the Mega pack?"

Astro Go is blocked when you are abroad, cannot use with non-malaysian IP. Same with all other streaming services, Unifi TV, iFlix, Netflix and so on. But thats normal, everywhere the same.

I am fine with Njoi, let´s see what I take when F1 starts again.

Yes, too slow for watching. Especially as Malaysia IP is not the key market for VPN providers. Maybe with a high end provider it could work, but that then are prices suitable for companies.

Uhh, my njoi box (2015 model) refuses to work. After booting it shows only "--:--" instead of the time or channel.

How to reset? Maybe this can help.

Thanks. The problem was not the box and not my connections. A cable at the entrance point to my unit in our condo was broken.

Well, that is only one side. Do not forget that Astro gets PAID by these channels. Certainly the earn money from us watching CCTV4.

In there negos with CCTV they certainly need to have a BIG NUMBER of Astro and Njoi customers so they can ask for more money.
