Five Ways Jose Mourinho has transformed Chelsea this season
by FAHMICFC360 • MARCH 13, 2014 ![]() Jose Mourinho infamously returned to a place he calls ‘home’ last summer and as a result, the Blues are now the favorites in the run in for the title with just less than 10 games left to played. Last season was a disappointing season for the most part even though it ended in a glorious fashion with Champions league qualification sealed and a consolation price of the Europa League after the Blues failed in 7 of 8 competitions they took part in. In addition to the disappointing performances in games, the sacking of Roberto DiMatteo months after winning the Champions league angered the fans even more and created a hostile image of the club against the unpopular interim Rafa Benitez. After all the disappointments and frustration, Russian owner Roman Abramovic prepared a great gift for the club he loves and for the fans in summer of that season which marked his 10th anniversary or a decade at Stamford bridge: Jose Mourinho! The return of the Special one on a FOUR year contract sparked another new era of dominance ahead of us as Roman Abramovic plotted for a 2nd decade of dominance at the bridge. Now, let’s look ahead at how things panned out so far this season under the 2nd reign of the Special one and see the main 5 areas he improved to transform the inconsistent and depleted team of last season into a solid, high spirited title challengers this season against the odds. 1 - Show the players who is in control » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 2 -Better tactical awareness and usage of players. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 3 - Impact transfer signings suited to the job » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 4 - Getting the best out of the veteran players » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 5 - Brought back the winning mentality and instinct to Chelsea » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Thanks for reading and let us know what you think through comments. Looking at the fixture for City and us. Which I think is the main rival for us for the PL crown.
Chelsea :- Aston Villa (away) Arsenal (home) Crystal Palace (away) Stoke (home) Swansea (away) Sunderland (home) Liverpool (away) Norwich (home) Cardiff (away) We only have 2 games against the top 7 (Arsenal and Liverpool) Man City:- Hull (away) Fulham (home) Utd (away) Arsenal (away) S'ton (home) Liverpool (away) West Brom (home) Crystal Palace (away) Everton (away) West Ham (home) While City have to play 4 of the top 7 (Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton), and also all of them away from home. Sorry for being too optimistic, but I have a gut that we can win the BPL this season. |

QUOTE(kucingmainan @ Mar 14 2014, 12:01 AM) at first i oso thot so, finishing at 2nd place is enuff for me. But when i look at the fixture, i felt, we actually have a chance. But still, it depends on City to lose their game. If both City and us win all the remaining games, City will win by goal diff. |

Yup. even for UCL, the quarter finals look damn tough, can say no weak teams. liverpool away will be our biggest test. hopefully one of the sas pick up injury prior to the game. Now Atletico, Bayern, PSG, Barca and Real ady qualified. If everything goes smoothly, Chelsea, Utd and Dortmund will qualify too. All damn |
