sunreit today sold RM 1.35... Then use the money key standby buy YTLREIT.

be optimistic. Its Temporary for prime location property to be vacant. Then when find new tenant, yield will go up and share price will go up. But that is the risk in property. Once found good tenant, then will be too late to buy the share. No Risk No Gain...

i did not take action. No sell.. and no buy.
so, will be stuck with it for a while...

Anyway, thats the risk in property. I hv few personal property too. sometimes no tenant..sometimes lousy tenant. very stressed.
Tot putting money into REITS to lower the stress level. But still hv same issue..

LOUSY TENANTS and TENANT SHIFTING OUT... issue.

the major difference is also,
those who invest 200k in apartment do it without forking up the physical 200K.
Maybe only less than 30% of the 200k. Balance 70% is BORRROWED MONEY.

whereas REIT.. u hv to fork up the physical 200k.

so, Property investment to me bit Hi-Risk, coz using LEVERAGE MONEY.

Depends also yr age group. if young, i would say go for the PROPERTY INVESTMENT using the
LEVERAGE MONEY as you can make YOUR MONEY WORK HARDER for you.

if u opt for the DRP, u will end up with odd units. Unless u intend to keep for a long long time... then go for DRP.
I took DRP the 1st round, kinda regreted, coz now very odd units.
Better to just take the cash. Coz with Bursa, nothing LAST FOREVER... there will come a day, where u might want to sell of this share...
