There is no advertisement in tv also in cinema. I wonder what is wrong with Lego Movie promotion in Malaysia, something fishy is going on. If there is no ad, we cannot hope for any minifig to be given away when go watch the movie.

Lego Movie set is available in Amazon US and it is cheaper to buy there. for example if buy Metalbeard Duel + Lord Business Lair(currently on sale) will cost RM405 include shipping. Where if buy in BBT or BV will cost arounf RM475.

Latest my wife bought me mindstorms ev3 from Amazon US and they already improve their packaging, not a slight dent on the box and she bought it for RM1270 include shipping :-)

Amazon US is actually offering International Shipping to Malaysia but not all set, normally for current and new set only. When you browse in amazon, make sure to check Global Shipping Eligible to filter all set that able to be send to Malaysia. And I use Newest Arrival filter to find new set available

Yeah..the conversion is quite high currently. Amazon US is currently having 20% discount to all Lego Movie set.

If just buy 1 set, the price is just slightly cheaper, but if buy like 2 or more set can reduced a lot on shipping

You are so lucky got friend in US can help. I only have friend in UK and Canada only and the price is not much different from here.

It depend for whom you buy the Lego set, if for your kids, you can follow the age recommendation. If you buy for yourself, you can buy any set that appeal to you because Lego building instruction is really clear and easy to follow. The main point is to have fun and learn new thing

I found that during booking with gsc the house they allocate for Lego Movie is very very small eventhough the movie just released. Are they thinking the movie will be a flop? I found that Lego Movie have not been treat fairly by local cinema. There must be some people did not want Lego Movie to become popular. I wonder why this is happen in Malaysia, the only Asia country that have Legoland.

I know its under kids genre, but come on, on a 1st week of release? This is ridiculous. I just feel this happen only to Malaysia and somebody is behind it.

Does it mean they think The Lego Movie will be a flop? I know cinema running a business, but its normal to give way for new movie a big hall and as time goes if the movie didn't do well will slowly convert to small hall. But give small hall at the start of screening is a bit unfair.

Having LLM never make us the "atas" country, and our buying power is not that good compare to all the D currency country. What I mean is, when we have LLM in our country, doesn't it make more sense to give more support to the movie? When more people watch it, more will be attract to Lego and probably will raise the number of people to go visit LLM.
