So I just launch using the SKSE Loader?

I tried earlier and still got SkyUI Error 1. Hmmm.
*
You should use Mod Organizer instead. Try that, and try SKSE launcher. Launch it from Mod Organizer where you can select which binary to launch in.

Alright will try that. Do I need to reinstall the mods using MO or those installed using NMM can still be used?
*
You'll need to delete the Skyrim data folder (except for the big Skyrim files), then resync with Steam. This is because NMM places a lot of junk inside the folder.

After that, redownload and reinstall using MO.

Nope didn't use Mod organizer just normal NMM. Just lighting haul, weathers of tamriel,UNPB,Skimpy armor UNPB set of course, cloaks of skyrim, FNIS, Realistic Ragdolls, Apachiiskyhair, SkyUI, Quality World Map, RaceMenu, Matter of Time, Auto Unequip ammo and Imaginator. the save I'm using is not with my Hypothermia saves so it really boggles my mind and yes I did turn off hypothermia using the Mod setting in-game then made a new save.
*
Hmm, better use Mod Organizer, cause you might have overwritten some core files of other mods. Also, use Boss, TES5Edit, WyreBash to clean up and arrange your mods correctly.

Managed to get SkyUI to work. Turns out I just needed to start Steam up first then only load SKSE Loader.
*
Yes, Steam will need to be started to start any Steam game smile.gif

Also, Mod Organizer warns you if you haven't started Steam yet.

Alrighty then, do I need to delete NMM or so to install MO? Btw what's the full name of Boss again? Forgot de sweat.gif
*
Don't need to delete NMM, just need to uninstall all mods in NMM, then download Mod Organizer and download the mods again. If you don't want to download all the mods again, you can just paste the mods in /downloads directory in Mod Organizer, but you will need to right click each download and do a "Query" so that the versioning can be recognized by Mod Organizer.

Edit again: Paste the download zip file mods to the /downloads directory *just to be clearer*

Make sure that your Skyrim Data folder is clean as well (remove all the files that are not the default Skyrim Data folder). Using NMM, a lot of junk is installed in there.

BOSS is here:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6

Without BOSS, your mods will 100% conflict with each other causing CTDs and all sorts of weirdness.

Edit again:
Follow all this in this guide: http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.8

Till Step 2.D. You will at least get the base 100% stable modded Skyrim this way.

Usually, Youtube videos + Steam's Community Review will give a good picture on whether the game will be enjoyable by me.

Pikachu ways of saying reminded me of Aang tongue.gif
Long ago, the Skyrim graphic was good. Then everything changed when the ENB Graphics came in. Only Masters of the ENB Boost can stop them. And I believe ENBOOST can save the game. *Intro Song after da speech*

Ok, guys.

Does steam ninja download things without telling me?

My bro keep insisting that they do and wants me to turn it off whenever he plays games.

I'm not talking about game updates where it shows up in the download bar. I'm not talking about steam updates where the icon shows it's working something.

I mean completely nothing. Idling icon, but downloading something regardless.

Does it do that? My bro is pissing me off by insisting that steam does huge ninja downloads with an idling icon
*
The Steam client updates itself without the indicator. It's about 80MB I think.

It's more like Dear Esther with absolutely zero gameplay. Just walk around and see stuff.

I don't think I'll call that a game. More like virtual art installation.
*
There are some games like Analogue a Hate Story which consists of just story, though I did enjoy the ~4 hours of story there even when it was almost devoid of any kind of gameplay.

That doesnt mean it should even be nominated for the only prestigious gaming awards. Its like letting Transformers winning Oscars.

I dont see whats wrong with visual novels but seeing a "game" like Gone Home winning BAFTA is just stupid. It has less gameplay than the Walking Dead. Walking Dead still feel like a game where there are some player agency, some puzzles, some adventure game-like gameplay or even some simple QTE to mess around with. What does Gone Home has? Walking around by pressing W is called gameplay now?

No wonder Flappy Bird can be so popular on mobile these days.
*
You'd have to go back to the BAFTA award judgment criteria. Also the meaning of the word 'game' itself. One thing's for sure. A visual interactive QTE pressing application is not the correct definition. whistling.gif

Quick question...

I know some game can't be ran on newer OS.

Say that... I have a dual boot system of Win XP and Win 7, and all steam games installed on 3rd Partition.

Does the downloaded content is different for each OS?
*
It depends on how different your downloaded OS and your current OS you're using. If you're using Mac or Linux, yes the binaries will be different.

However, if it's Windows, it'll most likely be the same. Probably an extra compatibility patch or two which you can download automatically when you Force Redownload.

Sure but all these region locks with $60 price tag should not be accepted by anyone.

Either they choose between region lock with lower prices, or RoW with US prices.
*
RM60 price tag, not $60. I'm also ok with RM60 AAA titles that are region locked.
