East Kalimantan is one of the richest provinces per capita in Indonesia due to the oil & gas industry.

Miri is busy hub for northern Sarawak (Marudi, Bario etc), connecting these areas to other cities mainly KL. There's some Bruneians take flight in Miri instead of Brunei.

Tawau itself is much larger than Bintulu (400k vs 200k)

Tawau area population is twice of that of Bintulu itself plus nearby Tawau, there's Semporna, which itself more than 130,000 people. Plus, there is short international flight to Tarakan biggrin.gif

for me definitely should not be in top 10 because that would be scary, but it did, so that can only showed 2 things, either borneo is not well developed (not many outstanding cities and airports around) or miri airport is far more busiest thus surpassed my observation

There aren't that many well-developed cities in Borneo IMO and those few times when I were in Miri airport, the place seemed crowded (but then I could happen to be there when it was one of the busiest)

LFS at Summer. In peninsula, LFS is very active outside KL area haha. Lotus is LFS hehe.

Here in Klang Valley, I normally watch GSC and TGV. In certain cases, I watch MBO because it can be cheaper.
