QUOTE(barbar554 @ Feb 1 2014, 05:27 PM) There's sweep 2 wake and double tap 2 wake function. But you'll have to install a custom kernel. And it drains your battery too as the digitizer is always active. QUOTE(Someonesim @ Feb 1 2014, 05:28 PM) QUOTE(djlah @ Feb 1 2014, 05:30 PM) yes, volume rocker to wake up the screen. I'm basically on stock phone...unrooted, stock ROM. Do you guys use these functions? Or use physical button? I'm just afraid too much use of the buttons will wear them out.without physical button, have more choice: 1. double tap to wake (aka knock on). 2. swipe from left to right the screen to wake up. 3. those using cover flip casing, can try smart cover app, which is using the ALS to detect the flip open or close. 4. buy flip cover with magnet feature |

As far as I know, N5 is not official in SG yet. Those sets that you found people selling are export sets and they are expensive than you import directly by yourself. I just bought one from Google Japan and shipped to SG
