Not sure. I've not use cm (or any rom from its source) since quite a while already. But I read elementalx thread, recently, saw a user posted that it's good on his Droidkang.

Does this phone really drain out battery very fast ? I heard it quite a lot from N5 users . I really like this phone simplicity...the only drawback is the battery...  I often use Mobile Data - for FB, 4S, IG and also GPS , Sometime tethering for my Ipad .

when I flash those custom rom without these features, SoftkeyZ App just works for me.

During the pre-kit kat days, I used to change the navigation bars to blue to match the battery colour.
But since kit kat comes with white battery colour I don't modify i anymore.

Yeah, G2 & N5 was launched last year.But for now the high spec standard is the Snapdragon 800, 2GB RAM, Adreno 330 etc2. Xperia Z2 & HTC One should have similar spec. For now Samseng might release S5 with S800 but with their brick & mortar strategy I won't be surprised if they launch S5 variant with S805 later.

IMO we have passed the hardware "battle" long time ago. Any OEM can get the best spec by throwing some money. But not everyone managed to take advantage over it with good software. IMO Moto X & G were the exception for this. With the rumour that Nexus line might be discontinued soon, I'm interested with how the OEM will customize the OS after this.

BTW the red Nexus 5 with crystal casing is damn sexy. How much is the red Nexus 5 in Satu Gadget/directd shop?

Red and black button theme, gosh I missed PA now. Used to really love changing different color for each apps ( blue for FB, red for G+ etc )

But Google could have done better with the battery & camera.
I'm still waiting to see the new camera API's.
For some reason I don't really dig PA.
I know customizing ability is one of Android's forte. But PA customizing ability make Android look like frankenstein. It isn't as consistent as Google's version of Android. Personally I believe that phone UI's should be reasonably simple. PA's "phablet" UI can be confusing for some.

Yup, big question on this, not sure if Nexus 5 ROM had these quick cover mode or not. 

If check the note 3 also required the chip embedded along with original note 3 case in order to make them work. But nexus 5 is unique where it no longer have the 3 pin like other nexus have.

any has problem transferring files ? I could transfer 100+mb files (Slimkat ROM) but can't do the same with 300mb+ (Cataclysm). Needed to put into a folder then only transfer. Then, the problem is, when i tried to flash it, it couldn't open zip file

I just used standard drag-drop on Windows 8. I flashed Slimkat without a problem(but returned to stock..didn't like the interface)

It's like Cydia on iOS (am i using the right analogy here  ?)

So far it is serving me well. Even has Pie controls and alot of other features from multiple ROMs.

Cydia can be considered as full fledge 3rd party app store which allows all sort of apps for iOS.
Xposed Tool is more like a system modification tools.You may download the "plugins" and modify the OS.
But be warned, Xposed will modify the systemui which will prevent you from applying OTA update (if you prefer OTA).
Xposed initially designed for the mediatek SOC devices solely because those devices lacks custom ROMs. But recent changes allows Xposed to be used in different ROMs. In case of Samsung ROMs, there's different Xposed tool.
If you want to start messing with Xposed, download & sideload the apk, reboot after installation and choose compatible modules. In case of Nexus devices, you may apply pretty much all the AOSP targeted modules.
