Oh, I didn't said it totally not working. But it won't work at BBC 2 channel. Did you try that channel?

It is not working under HW+ for BBC 2 channel for my TV box and my phone. This is obvious MX Player Pro issue.

The MX Player Pro not working in HW+ for BBC 2 channel in Live NetTV and RedBox. It is not working, it show like slideshow until you turn to SW for BBC 2 channel. No such issue in any others player except MX Player Pro in BBC 2 channel.

I test it on Mi Box with DiGi and Maxis line. I also test it on LG G6 with DiGi and Maxis line. The newer test just try is Mi Max with another DiGi line. Also I am tested in 2 different location now as I at home town today. Among 3 devices got Android 6 and 7 also.

Conclusion it is not working under Live NetTV and RedBox at BBC 2. The HW+ or HW is not working in this channel but only SW mode

Total 3 devices and 2 Telco with 3 different register number test is enough to prove the MX Player Pro got issue.

Before I comment Video Player (XPlayer) is the best for streaming, I test all support player in Live NetTV and RedBox with all English channel (USA, UK, Australia and Documentary). End up I notice the best and smoothness is Video Player (XPlayer) where rate 4.8 star in play store with more than 10 million downloads and editor's choice apps.

how was F1 GP on livenettv and which channel u used - continuous good service, no stuttering? Was not able to watch on SkySports F1 via CloudTV ... hang every 5 seconds. The Q3 was hardwired to the router of my 100MBit TIME fibre connection. Other channels worked fine - I assume too many users in China maybe using that stream?

to give u an idea... that f1 live...

best is unifitv with foxsports.
astrogo/foxsports, livenettv/bein sports, some other app/skysports... about the same.
all of them work fine, smooth, a matter of picture quality.

cloudtv... free channels do not work well for the popular ones.
ok for less popular like news and lifestyle.

Actually you can get all ad free edition by searching the app by added in keyword "mod".

For example search "Terranium 1.9.5 mod", "live nettv 4.6 mod" and etc.

Since 2 days ago, TTV mod versions forces playback through Yes Player. To continue the ad free experience, there are 2 options,

1. On the chosen link, click "play with" and choose the player from there

2. Install Yes Player ad free from HERE

Seems like premium forces u to use yes player only, which sucks cause it cannot sync/offset subtitles.

Try uninstall Yesplayer then.

Try reinstall, then on 1st startup when being ask for player for 1st time between more ads or less ads, choose MORE Ads.
That will give options to choose player.

Hope this help, i manage to set to mxplayer.

yes, as the days go by, more n more will die.
i can tell most of these free apps esp good ones dun last long.
that one lasted 1 month... some last only a few days.
and that is precisely why they r free.
the key is to keep up, find new as the old die.

read back the last 10-20 pages, u find some useful tips n links.
vod, esp in eng is easy to get.
livetv in hd is harder.

local... not much, nothing good.
hk/kor/jap... nothing lasting, except icdrama rss.
china... a few... tvplus2.0, hdp, moli, moretv, cloudtv.
eng... plenty... mobdro, redbox, livenettv, terarium, showbox, moviehd.
google to find them, they exist.

Oh well, at least I have "EvPad" to use while "waiting/hoping" for a good apk to appear..........

I wish I could just buy the "apks" from "EvPad" & use on "Nvidia shield TV or Xiaomi mi TV" as the "EvPad" is suck watching netflix.
