Always feel so satisfying stuffing a loss down Pulis' throat.
Great to see Tomas is back. No coincidence we scored a second after his introduction. Lovely to see the one touch give and go with Cazorla, |

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Feb 3 2014, 01:53 AM) No one said he wasn't good but you can't deny the fact he was ineffective first half. Palace sitting deep nullified his pace. The first goal he scored was due to Palace falling asleep but kudos for the second goal. With Jack and Aaron fit Alex wouldn't get a sniff at that CM spot IMO. While pacey and direct still lacks the graft and penetration Jack or Aaron offers. Not to mention Jack and Aaron are both better when defending. QUOTE(Rei7 @ Feb 3 2014, 02:05 AM) It's about the future we are talking.. and when we actually need him in Soton match like I suggested last time.. Putting Ox there you guys...nooo nooo cannot. Key word is future. Not now. So you want to win the BPL in future and not now? It's a lot better than putting in Arteta and Flamini. Tiba-tiba Aaron, and Jack pulak, ini time Soton.. So in Wenger you trust or in who? The one who said Ox as a future midfielder is Wenger not me I stand by Arsene's decision of playing Arteta and Flamini in the Southamption match. Right now I still don't see the OX as central midfielder for the crucial games. We can slowly nurture him in that position against the lesser teams (Arsene has shown that vs Coventry and today) for the future but at the moment I'd put him as a CM option behind everybody else. As a winger? Hell yes, but not a CM at present. |

QUOTE(zimhibikie @ Feb 3 2014, 10:35 AM) former Boro and Hull player..I think he used to played also for T-Team.. Let me ask you a simple question. With Rosicky, Wilshere, Ramsey and Kallstrom all fully fit right now would you pick the OX to start ahead of ALL of them in that CM position? Ox for the future? C'mon lar, he is already a made-man for the present. he looked ineffective in the 1st half and excel in the 2nd half bcoz he was given the freedom to make those darting runs in the 2nd half. great all round performance by the team, esp by the Ox I left out Flamini and Arteta because either one will for sure be played as DM with Ozil behind the striker so that leaves only one CM spot. Doesn't matter though, Arsene's team selection in future big games will tell you whether the OX really is ready to start every week as a CM. With all fit the OX wouldn't get a sniff at that CM position. Not to say he is crap there but we have better options at CM when all are fit. The same as Walcott for striker. I'd prefer both on the wings at present. |

QUOTE(thyrsus @ Feb 3 2014, 12:06 PM) Yeah, UniFi have Astro 810 & 811 in HD, but I reckon the # is different in HyppTV(which doesn't matter as long as the content is same). What concerns me is - are majority of Arsenal EPL games on 810 & 811? Because I can't recall. Some Arsenal matches are shown on 812 and 813 as well if I'm not wrong? |

QUOTE(undentifyxd @ Feb 4 2014, 04:48 AM) lol this one is way better than drogba era I've seen quite a number of their games this season and it was a snooze fest. No evidence at all of what you just mentioned. Then again I don't watch all their games.i kinda liking this kind of football from chelsea high pressing with a fast ball movement they deserve to get at least 1pts at etihad |

QUOTE(ralfmars83 @ Feb 4 2014, 04:57 AM) They know they have hazard in the team. They can sit deem and hope Hazard can do the job by attacking or holding up the ball to wait for support. Not watching the game but as expected from that lineup we can see the objective of Jose from the start, is to soak the pressure and then counter with the pace of Willian and Hazard on the wings with Ramires supporting from midfield.City were lucky not to concede when they were couter-attacked by 4 chelsea players against 1 city defender. I think the bus will do the job in the 2nd half. Exactly what Inter did to Barca from winning posession. We are very likely to stay on top! Sorry but I don't see any difference than what West Ham did against them. Obviously though they counter attack better than West Ham because if not they might as well not cost those millions and play for the Russian Mafia. #19thcenturyfootball |

QUOTE(Casanova88 @ Feb 4 2014, 12:43 PM) You guys made the wrong wish. It should have been a draw or Man City win. Records are meant to be broken you noob. Otherwise, why even have records in the first place? Now it's tougher than we expected. Chances of Arsenal beating Chelsea under JM is 0%. You can check the records. We have better chance of beating Man.City. Chance for Chelsea to win EPL is now higher. Nothing personal, it's just about the game |

QUOTE(Casanova88 @ Feb 4 2014, 01:34 PM) How many times AW has beaten JM? Even the bookies are convinced JM is unbeatable for AW How many records have been broken already this year? Do the maths!Everytime pundit talks about this record too. It's painful to know but this is the fact! FYI, JM never lost an EPL home game. Do your maths! We will know the result on 22nd March. No reason why another record can't be broken. Thats right we will know on the 22nd of March. |

QUOTE(kazekage_09 @ Feb 8 2014, 05:14 PM) that day kena label we have no class coz interested in suarez. lel Leave them la, been dealing with mediocrity in the UEFA cup and mid table for such a long time couldn't have been easy.now we like man u fan pulak. wakaka since when we create term such as "ABA"- all but arsenal lol and yes we all know nothing about football. only their fan know everything lel Agree they have been more than annoying. Even in FB. Little did they know with so little to play for yet their still in a dog fight with the Spuds and Man U who have European commitments as well. Nothing to shout about in my books. I actually expected them to be higher up the table given their easy schedule with so few games. They were knocked out so early in the League Cup also. Probably I overestimated them too much at the beginning of the season. Let them finish fifth la this season and when you add on UEFA Cup to their responsibilities next season watch them struggle again with the weight of more competitions. QUOTE(ahaksz28 @ Feb 8 2014, 05:46 PM) ^Hope you are right. Not long to go to find out. Johnson, Sakho and Agger out. I hear Lucas is out as well.Is Sakho fit for today? We have to overcome two SAS combo if he's fit to play against us. If Per and Kos play to their best SAS wouldn't get a sniff. I hope Gibbs plays instead of Monreal. As solid as Monreal is he tends to get exposed by pace from time to time. With Lucas out we should dominate their midfield IMO. Hope the lads will be as fired up as we are. |

We lose 10-0 or 1-0 its still 3 points. Remember the responses we got from the team after we lost against Villa and City.
Man U got thrashed 6-1 by City in one season and everyone wrote them off but in the end still only lost the league to City on that last minute Aguero goal. Chin up guys. Still 2nd and just 1 point behind. |

QUOTE(zimhibikie @ Feb 9 2014, 12:17 PM) fans aint angry bcoz we lost, its the way we lost. We were well-known once as a fast attacking team with crisp and quick passing. but last nite, we were so damn slow to get of the mark. Arteta again have been found out when he was unable to track back Liverpool players when they went on the attack. Liverpool had a soft centre, yet we somehow decided to place Ox at wing and theres no fast runner towards their defence. maybe AW nyesal didnt get in Draxler, coz he could make something from yesterday's game.. Even in their title winning seasons, Man Utd has had some heavy losses to City, Chelsea and even Liverpool over the years. If we looked at our performance in January 2014, we had struggled to beat even weaker teams, at home, some games needed last 10 minutes goals. Even if somehow became champions, there will be teams which can boast beating us, by good margin.. Do you think they even cared at the end of the day? Agree we haven't been convincing at all in most our games in 2014 though. Can't really recall a game in which we really played well, dominated and put the opponents to the sword. They were mostly games in which we were sluggish for most part + bits and pieces of brilliance in which we scored. This post has been edited by sigheart: Feb 9 2014, 02:16 PM |
