QUOTE(rav3n82 @ Apr 17 2014, 11:38 PM) New entry for Zotac GTX 780 AMP! Edition. Gotta love how the Zotac 780 Amp performs at its stock clocks. Even with 3dmark Firestrike you'll get 96xx score at stock.1600 x 900 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 1920 x 1080 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

It's getting rather tiresome to read the back and forth bickering.
Unseen83 is a very unique special individual, not everyone gets him. I don't. So I just make it a point not to reply any of his posts or get into any exchange of words with him. Some people are really.. an acquired taste. End of the day its just e-peen. I'm quite certain both of you are not young cikus, infact I think both are 30+ in age. Chill la. |

QUOTE(Ronzph @ Aug 16 2014, 10:28 PM) Actually no harm to just pump direct to 1200/1700. If hang/artifact, then start going down from there. That's what I did with my 780's and they weren't even MSI Lightnings. You can do eeeeeet! |

QUOTE(marfccy @ Aug 17 2014, 03:03 AM) do remember to pump in the memory clocks too The first one was a Reference 780, Zotac. That card handled 1200/1700 benchmark-stable, but not gaming stable.. gaming had to lower a bit to 1150/1700.it does help ya know i tried 1100/1700, insta BSOD your 780 macam gooding, which brand? or you flashed new BIOS to remove Nvidia's built in throttle? Second was a 780 AMP! Edition, also Zotac.. this one was lower a bit at 1100/1650 max, stable. No bios flashing on the reference, except for the AMP! card Zotac emailed me a fixed bios with the better fan curve. |

Must admit these Maxwell cards overclock quite effortlessly, and this particular 980 is only a reference card. The custom pcb/cooler cards will be even more impressive.

bro, I'm quite sure 1331/1950 is not the limit and will be trying to push it further when I have time again
But I'm really really looking forward to see what people do with their custom pcb/cooler 980s. Also, have faith in AMD still, first quarter 2015 we'll know! |

QUOTE(Yagami5159 @ Sep 29 2014, 02:32 PM) Well it seems like the photobucket kept cropping my leaderboards pictures till magnifying glass are needed. Do you guys know any good and free image hosting where the pictures will not be cropped automatically? If there's none, I might have to upload it as attachment on the next update. Have you considered transferring the leaderboard to a Google Doc spreadsheet instead? On the other news, managed to get myself an old 1080p monitor, will post results and the leaderboards tonight. Much easier to edit etc, can set permissions/access for extra people to help you maintain it as well. |

Phase 1 of OC'ing the 980 Reference is done, which is trying to go as high as I can without over-volting. Phase 2, which will involve over-volt is next!
Couldn't get it stable at 1380mhz core with the memory clocked at 1950mhz, had to reduce memory by 30mhz. Score: 1890 Core: 1380mhz, boosted to 1493mhz observed during Heaven run, this was continuously sustained throughout the entire benchmark run, almost 1500mhz boost clocks! Nice one Shep, now I'm motivated
Reference card as well? Does CPU affect Heaven benchmark? Currently running my 3770k at stock speed as didn't want to have both GPU & CPU overclocked due to this temporary PSU I'm using while waiting for RMA. Started over-volting; Score: 1922 Core: 1370mhz, boosted to 1502mhz observed during Heaven run, this was continuously sustained throughout the entire benchmark run.
