Just got informed earlier that my pre-order mh4u CE got cancelled T.T have to live with a normal ed
probably gonna use the extra to fund for the new 3ds xl. Time to upgrade my normal 3ds for a bigger screen and a tiny analog to replace the circle pad  |

Since preinstalled think i'll get the Majora's Mask and the game seperately.

PSA: Using the same 4G/4U cartridge on a different different 3DS might result in corrupted armor sets data. Happened to me twice now when I played it on my 3DS instead of my XL because the battery on my XL was low.
You don't lose anything but your saved armor sets will be corrupted beyond salvation. It probably has something to do with the data being saved in your 3DS's SD card instead of the cartridge. Sets were saved in the cartridge in MH4 but they decided to have it stored in the SD card this time around for some reason. |

I just tried the demo and i noticed the frame rate is not as smooth as MH3U on 3ds, even in single player. Was this the case with japan MH4 too?
I hope the final game's frame rate will be on par with 3U. |

Started slow but better than MH3U definitely..

Wanna ask... Is there any way to reconnect the Circle Pad Pro other than exit the game and restart ? Kidda annoying.... am getting used to the game from psp to 3ds xl. Need to learn how to use the lower touch pad proper as its under utilized. Weapon of choice : Switch Blade still new to this.. |

Tried online multiplayer today with a couple of anons. 3 games and it seems very smooth for the big monster. As for the small fry.. It seems the ai aren't the same lol My team mates are fighting some invisible monster all the time. Didn't encounter this on MH3U on Wii U last time.. Not so sure about the previous one on 3ds. Or it was just me lagging? Lol |

Goa Magara has the best good looking armor imo. But the skill is kinda shitty. Maybe its low rank lol. Pairing with DS, look super awesome.

Tetsucabra Armor is the best for starter.
Btw, any suggest for bow starter armor? I am aiming for gore magala set now.. at least the stat is better than other so far... most importantly it look damn cool X3 |

That means it's time to change gears, or mine some sphere to upgrade the armour's defence. For someone who uses Switch Axe, it's not that easy to dodge as well, but usually just hit the monster once or twice and dodge just to be safe. Don't full combo the monster all the time and be greedy. Take it slow, so that you have more potions and mega potions to use The dodging part, just need to get used to the monsters pattern, once you play the game for hundreds of hours, you can pretty much dodge anything |

reporting in im finally HR2. switching between GS and CB for now having some problem with rathian atm, cant seem to kill it (quest fail by time out) im wearing bhanabra armor (upgraded till it requires armor sphere +) btw, any wiki sites for MH4U? I can only find MH3U wiki |

Problem with Rathian in MH4U is the poison accuracy when it does the claw thing.. For me it's bugged.
Rathian far away also can land at me from far away. Happened once or twice. |

Still no idea what you guys are talking about lol. I just reached the 2nd town (Harth).
Anyway, i find that dual blade/bow is more interesting to play but the review for dual blade is not as good as other weapons. Meanwhile bow is going to be hard on late game in solo stages. Any advice pros? Thanks! |
