QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ Nov 1 2006, 04:56 PM) just get yourself smartmovie, and convert the movies into .avi Its not a perfect solution either.dont waste time with the built in player(i've no idea how good or bad it is,but i couldnt care less...smartmovie is the only thing i use for playing movies.. and use Oggplay for your music needs(use Ogg instead of big ass mp3s) Just IMPO, mp3 is more widely used. People often convert or download songs in this format. However, if the user has to convert all the songs everytime he downloads, it's quite a tedious job to do. Anyway, luckily both Ogg player and UltraMP3 player are supporting the both formats. So, sending or receiving files from peers will not be that troublesome. Just in case they have only ogg files but their friends don't have an Ogg player or the otehr way round. |

What's the name of the game?
Every game has different system files. For the normal ones, they will be at C:/ or E:/system/app. Normally, copying (and also pasting it back to the system folder in the other phone) the whole folder of the game will do. Another type will be emulator games. For these you will have to search for relevant files yourself. Usually MGS games will be outside system folder. However, java games are a bit tough. Not so sure though. These are what i know.. Hope they help. Happy CNY anyways! |

Just rename the file from .sis to .si or sth else using Y-browser.
After sending to the phone, rename it back again. There's an appication named profimail but i'm not sure whether it works on 3rd ed phones. |

Last time when I bought my 1GB MMC, I did ask the saler about the speed.
There are 2 types in a card, 1 is reading speed and 1 is writing speed. If your card's reading speed is high, you can view numerous pictures, movies, etc without problem. With high writing speed, when you are performing tasks such as copying large file from a folder to another directory, it will be faster. That's what I know. So, you have to ask them before buying. just like our CD rom -- 48X, 52X... So far, I know MMC plus is faster than normal MMC. It has an extra pin on it. Try browsing wiki or something else for more information. Hope it helps. Added on February 28, 2007, 11:56 am QUOTE(mengsuan @ Feb 27 2007, 10:38 PM) Hmm... corrupted installations? Virus-containing files? QD can't perform 3key method to reformat. Since that the phone can't boot as usual, he has to bring it for flashing.I wonder if ngage qd can be formatted. Sounds possible to me. Or maybe it's a hardware problem. Coz my friend encountered the same thing and he was told tat his phone's IC was burnt. Anyway, try flashing first coz repairing the hardware is costly. This post has been edited by ihz: Feb 28 2007, 11:56 AM |

Please search before posting. There are many similar threads out there.
Anyway, for me, a 3rd party filemanager (Appman) is a must for a symbian user. Then you'll need a Smart Movie. Anti-virus (Netqin, mc afee, f-secure) is optional, might be important for some but also useless for some. Just refer to the other posts. They might have better ideas. Regards. |

Of coz no problem. It's a Symbian phone. Just flash it at any phone shop. If it's still under warranty, just bring it to the shop that recognises your warranty.
Not sure if there's any chinese software available yet for OS9 phones. |

For reformatting your phone, insert *#7370#. Or hold down the * , 3 , Dial key and power button till the screen of nokia appears. For reformatting card, go menu->tools->memorycard->options->reformat mem card. |

Maybe it takes up too much RAM. Try Anime Sprite, a newly created software by the3sky to animate .gif files at your phone's background. Pretty impressing..
