Nokia 6260 can support 1gb mmc or not?

my ngage qd has a big problem... anyway to fix this?? W.S.O.D = white screen of death... which have a white screen with a nokia logo when startup (hang) i need help.. i just used it for 2 days

Should be no problem. Depending on the card speed actually.
I'd been using 1GB MMC for 6600. It works perfectly.

You still have warranty right? That should ease your worries. As far as I know, it's the hardware problem. Same thing with my 6230. Just show the two shaking hands and hang.

what u mean by speed? did the mmc got diffrent type of speed? what types of mmc the fastest?

Last time when I bought my 1GB MMC, I did ask the saler about the speed.
There are 2 types in a card, 1 is reading speed and 1 is writing speed.
If your card's reading speed is high, you can view numerous pictures, movies, etc without problem. With high writing speed, when you are performing tasks such as copying large file from a folder to another directory, it will be faster. That's what I know. So, you have to ask them before buying. just like our CD rom -- 48X, 52X...
So far, I know MMC plus is faster than normal MMC. It has an extra pin on it.
Try browsing wiki or something else for more information.

Or maybe it's a hardware problem. Coz my friend encountered the same thing and he was told tat his phone's IC was burnt.
Anyway, try flashing first coz repairing the hardware is costly.

Please search before posting. There are many similar threads out there.
Anyway, for me, a 3rd party filemanager (Appman) is a must for a symbian user. Then you'll need a Smart Movie. Anti-virus (Netqin, mc afee, f-secure) is optional, might be important for some but also useless for some.

alot of nokia phones are symbian(s60) based.
all N and E series phones(IINM) are symbian based.(N series all s60,E series communicators are s90,IIRC)
SE's P and M series phones are Symbian based,too... (UIQ)
Panasonic has at least one phone that uses S60.
Sendo has a couple of S60 phones(not available in malaysia,i think)
not sure bout samsung...

as for a list,i guess symbian.com/wikipedia would have it..

Of coz no problem. It's a Symbian phone. Just flash it at any phone shop. If it's still under warranty, just bring it to the shop that recognises your warranty.

Not sure if there's any chinese software available yet for OS9 phones.
