QUOTE(shin2l @ Feb 9 2014, 10:42 AM) Weird, I thought it is like <RM200, usually the shop/seller help buyer to upgrade, maybe you need to confirm with Lenovo Malaysia. You can ask the buyers here who settled warranty upgrade recently in previous posts Yea, i read the previous post b4 and recently someone went there n also got same answer from reseller. If only one or two reseller said like tht mybe they were lying but all of them said the same thing need to upgrade on ur own, but yea i will call lenovo to confirm it.Anyway, this is my first laptop with grafic card, can anybody share how to maintain it n wht kind of software to use to monitor the performance, temperature etc2 |

QUOTE(wengjoe @ Feb 9 2014, 12:22 PM) one suggestion, try to ditch away the 1TB 5400 rpm HDD because it will generate tons of heat plus the performance is really bad. Yea i do plan to do tht later when got money, actually i was aiming the y410p but poisoned by the reseller n my fren to take the 15" instead 14" n now im overbudget😩😩move to a SSD if budget allow, the 1TB HDD can slot into caddy bay as an extra storage. |

QUOTE(PenzoilGuy @ Feb 9 2014, 12:21 PM) I'm that someone went every lenovo shop available at LYP asking about the warranty....all mention the same thing to get 3 years On-Site Warranty need to pay RM350(at Lenovo Service Centre Level 4)~RM368... Yea i even argue with the guy at the service center lvl 4 n show him the brochure but he keep resisting it is 300 something. Tomorrow i will call lenovo malaysia n ask them okSo all the sifu here can help us out the new owner/soon to be, where to get the RM 165 as Stated in The brochure for Y Series? Thanks!!! |
