Do you guys actually put the battery inside the laptop all the time while charging and playing laptop? Cause I wanna buy new laptop, Acer V Nitro, no stock everywhere. Sigh

Lol, I went to PC fair first day and survey. Last day of PC fair decided to buy Acer V Nitro, reach 4pm out of stock. They said two more weeks only got stock. Fine.

Search garage, found it, make full payment on 22-Nov. Said will receive on 26th. They have no stock, need to delay till 29th. On that day, the guy ask for my bank account, full payment refund. Said Acer irresponsible, keep on delay, damage their company reputation.

Got money also cannot get laptop, furthermore the laptop that I'm using is overheat every 5 mins.

Since the struggle is real, I'll inform you if I able to get it somewhere.

Yea, it might helps. But the laptop I'm using now bought around August-2008.
So, who am I to blame since this guy contribute so much.

There's hardly any stocks available. Even garage sales no stock unless you're looking for second hand.

Actually using 15.6" inch is very good, not too big not too small. I've been using 15 since 2004.
About the price of Nitro V, I don't think the price increase, cause garage sales still sell the same price.
I'm not 100% sure though.

And guys, how much do you think GST will affect the price of laptop or any electronic device?

Just got my Acer Nitro V on Friday. This laptop is amazing, huge different. Maybe because I change from old laptop (2008) to this laptop. And of course, best value for it specs.

And sifus sekalian, can I uninstall all the Acer software provided? Or any of you feel some of the software are useful?

Acer V Nitro have both Cyberlink Powerdirector & Photodirector 3, a bunch of Acer software, ab software and Mcafee Anti-Virus pre-installed.

I've already get rid of Mcafee Anti-virus. Just wondering whether I should uninstall other stuffs as well.

Acer V 15 don't have DVD-drive

I saw and touch the HP Omen during PC fair Dec2014, and it was beautiful. Look sleek and thin, the appearance was amazing. But due to the price/specs ratio, totally not worth it.

Lazada got a lot of complaints, sometimes good, sometimes not. It depends on your luck actually. But that price + -5% is good if everything was alright.

I'm using Acer V Nitro, it was amazing.
Maybe I sound biased, but this laptop is best bucks.

So, do I set TCP IPv4 or IPv6 or both for my new V Nitro?

Yeah, the battery life of V Nitro only last about 2++ hours full charge.

Its better to ask people from hardware section as mentioned by silrave.
And buying desktop from Dell/HP and etc is kinda meh IMO.
The price and specs does not match at all, not worth it.
