For the moment, only 3 types of player:
1. Gunslinger
2. Spellsword
3. Berserker

The gameplay is similar to Dynasty Warrior. You're a commander with 1-4 squad. (1 squad = 10 soldiers). Use squads as meat shield while you become the damage dealer. Whacking the enemies feels like a strike during bowling

You can change the squad's job after leveling them up:

First tier : light infantry grade 1 / elven healer grade 1

2nd tier (lvl 10 light infantry) : light infantry grade 2 / archer grade 1
2nd tier (lvl 15 elven healer) : elven healer grade 2

3rd tier (lvl 15 light infantry) : light infantry grade 3 / bladedancer grade 1 / light cavalry grade 1 / heavy cavalry grade 1
3rd tier (lvl 15 archer) : archer grade 2

4th tier: dunno yet. maybe today I can see

The graphics feels like its been optimized since theres no lagging even with 100 units. But if you look closely at the units, the textures are a bit blurry.

Exp can only be earned from completed quest. So, every players leveled up at the same rate From what I heard, lvl 20 seems to be the max lvl for this beta

I just don't like hack and slash type of games, is it all just button mashing or you need a certain degree of skill to execute those moves? Part of the fun of MMO games is that you have cooldowns, timing of skills, and combos. Hope this game is none of that

skill 1, skill 2, skill 3 = enemy dead. Most of the time, just need to chain all your moves until the enemies are dead or mp depleted.

Interesting enough, theres no lag in the button mash. If its other games, theres usually <1 sec lag from the key press to the moves. This game really feels fluid, attacking the boss moving to its left and right kinda interesting to watch/do.

Even with party members, its just a Killllllllllllllll frenzy! The reason; all the chars are damage dealers. No healer/tank/sniper/etc roles.

Sounds like hack and slash type of game which I suspected, kinda like Devil May Cry game series. Button mashing, no need skill one

For me that takes away the fun factor, though I have not tried it yet, hope you can prove me wrong

I'm using the KUF2.exe

But when I try KUF2Launcher.exe it told me I need to reinstall but when I tried I couldn't because of the game path installation. Really weird

Game is pretty nice and fun if you like dynasty warrior game but eventually this troop system those imba/nice/yeng/cool looking troop will be in cash shop and need to buy from what i can see la

This is a little weird..

First step:

1) Download client from website
2) opens the client exe and it downloads files, then asks where to download it into, I chose C drive
3) Opens the game folder in C drive, clicks KUF2.exe but it doesn't work because of the image I posted. Tried KUF2launcher.exe, it asks to reinstall but I can't select C drive because of some error, when I tried other drive then it's ok.

???? Then what on earth is in my C drive now? Install in C drive which asks to install in another drive??

And then I have to redownload the files from the internet again??? Whatt????

after try all 3 class
gunslinger the best for me bec blockshot skill is just powerful and fast execute and ofcoz stylish skill
although got alot typo and some bug such as field mob dont know how to go back to it zone make it invisible monster
this game give awesome experience

after playing all 3 classes, i can sum up that Gunslinger seems pretty lacking compared to the other 2 classes. Spellsword has high dmg output plus real good AoE spells. Berserker has very good survivability but Im not sure whats the best part about Gunslinger.

Ohh thanks, I had a terrible time just now with the patching/installation but I've settled it already. Only had like 1hour or so left to try the game.

Berserker seems badass but the face... more used to playing human characters or elves, but this is very devilish!

I couldn't even pass the tutorial so did not manage to try the RTS element. So in your opinion, which do you like best? Spellsword or Berserker?

i wont say spellsword got high damage output but true about wide aoe
berserker......well everyone should know what good about him now

i play gunslinger and damage is high particularly blockshot IF only you spend skill point to it extra skill combo. max both and damn strong now

if i must say what best part about gunslinger, should be range and abit high defence than spell sword + its cone type aoe
while spellsword aoe is wide and round shape
while questing, i see alot spellsword take long time to kill mobs with aoe
while me as gunslinger take literally 1~2 sec to kill mobs with blockshot

Also some mission ask you to destroy totem,berserker also lose abit to gunslinger


in the end
choose what you want to play not what other people want you to play
also protips when you get troops, atleast get 1 elf army for its heal skill

Okay. I'm playing spellsword now. I know "R" is for character special skill but how come I get different actions with that button? There's one flying kick and sometimes another "charged" type and another is healing type? How do I know and how to control?

^ that's why I also very confused about the skill system
The R also have multiple more skills such as sort of AOE slice, grab and jump sort of...
Try Shift (block) + R, sometime it trigger a special skill, sometime not.

Well, beta the skill tree also didn't have any "instruction", yet, hopefully.

I haven't try other classes yet.

look like gunslinger and spellsword 2 diferent confuse
gunslinger is E...yes use when down but also can use it even enemy not down yet. it do fire barrage straight line heavy damage which is rarely happen
R is reload pistol to do skill that use pistol ammo such as blocking shot +got buff

Been playing Spellsword for Ebt.
For spellsword E is either for down or stunned enemies,
best to use when enemies stun since it will freeze them then chain to ice hail aoe skill.

rune mastery a bit vague since i never use it much during ebt.

re-stat the spellsword tree on last day to enable the hands of ice+ice smashing skills and to my surprise it does better+faster freezing enemies(non stun) then waiting for the E button prompt to appear.

As for troops,only manage to get to Blade dancer grade 3 + Priest grade 2.Archer grade 2 just standby in barrack.

how you get priest?and does it only do heal?

got them from boss drop during one of the village liberation missions before the Defensive of Steel Plains quests.

Priest got small melee attack if engage by enemies but can survive longer than archer in melee despite their low hp.

In battle,Priest troops will stay at range and provide your army with constant healing and Sp regeneration.

starting a new mmo with only 3 class is not a good start.. should always minimum of 4

pls tell me how bad it is and how many wait for the game to rush obt although got 3 class only

because at some stage the game will be repetitive... all build look the same, all char look the same, and there's no variety in pvp.. pls if it got slow update it will be worst

Was hoping that they already added Orc chiefs and Vampire heroes classes or maybe the tiny Dwarves prior to release.But the handful of difference troops classes to discovered,play and tinker are enough to offset the 3 classes heroes.

at early (g1/g2), elf troops more fun to use,got many skill such as heal and fire arrow, fire arrow need manually used

At the moment, Gunslinger will be my favourite choice. After playing it for a while reaching lvl 18. I realized the class starts to shine albeit abit. Its true your pistol will be doing the real damage compared to sword attacks or if you mix together. The class has a minimal AoE plus i prefer the dash compared to the two since GS i felt has a much longer distance dash compared to berserker and spellsword. In addition i like the armor designs for the class. One things for sure im not really sure how does the game actually grades you.

yeahhh me too since there 2 Grade when complete mission. is it mission grade and hero grade?
and my fav also gunslinger since blocking shot is OP when max it skill and max it second skill
his finishing move that stab down enemy and rapid shot+shockwave is more powerful

From my experience,the battlefield grading reflects on how well you play out your heroes and deployed troops during the mission.

Grinding troops exp on the lvl.19 Outskirts of death wood battlefield mission,

I mow down enemy troops with little help from my troops and get mission rank C or D.
next
I execute the troops command from support hero to attack on sight accordingly and managed to get constant rank A and B.

Got Rank S twice but forgot on which troops i deployed when i got the rank,blade dancer+archer or blade dancer+ priest.

hi guys, interested player here. saw some good comments about this game from mmo sites, and am considering jumping ship here from Dragon nest, but would want to know some honest feedback from you guys on how fun this game is.

so be honest, is this game more fun than Dragon nest? i see open world, which is a huge plus point for me. i see non targeting combat, which is another draw point for me since i'm a DN fan for 2 years now, and it has REALLY HOT AND SMEXY GRAPHIX!!!!!! all of which are good plus points for me to play this game.

but then i see only 3 job classes, the same generic fantasy themes that u see over a million times in hundreds of thousands of games both on console and massively online games everywhere, and the whole rts thing is really new to me i an mmorpg game, and lastly..........THE GODDAM ENGRISH!!!!!!!WTH!!!!!!

so i really curious, are the good points about this game far outweight the bad points i pointed out? wanna have something nice to tide me over before the Assassin class in DN is released.

During the Ebt,most of the game features are not even unlocked or implemented to be tested by players.

Most of the good comments on the various mmo's/Fb's sites were posted by players(including me) that has played and enjoyed the original KuF Crusaders and KuF Heroes on xbox.
Due to that,KuF 2 Ebt instantly hook us with it gameplay.

For the good and bad,well,...cant really comment much atm at least until the game goes into Obt.

but i must say that KuF 2 might not appeal to the casual streamlined mmorpg players.

The game itself are rts in the core but have hack n slash + rpg as supplemental to its gameplay.
You can try search and check out the xbox KuF gameplay or walkthrough on youtube since i might give out the description wrong.

As for the job classes,it falls onto the troops such as infantry,priest,mage,paladin and so on.
I just realized that KuF dont have any player job classes,only heroes.Observation from player comments reveals that only skills and gameplay differentiate the 3 heroes.

The combat are spot-on on both battlefield and field map,albeit the rts camera mode on battlefield can be annoying sometimes.Even with high ping the gameplay are still smooth.

Honestly,if you played any of the KuF titles on the Xbox's,then this the mmo-rts for you.
If KuF 2 is your 1st time into the franchise,then wait till the Obt release to test it out and experience it yourself.

1. open world
semi open world which is field, you only use your hero and do some quest from killing mob to pick something and instance which is battlefield where the fun begin and also the main attraction in this game, you and your troops + your party member and their troop fight enemy

2. non targeting
yes it is non targeting except when you command troop which use bird view for rts mode. your hero (your character) will hack and slash mode

3. 3 class?really?
yes 3 class BUT just remember this game not only about your character but also troops. your troop got alot of class which is their base class is human infantry and elf infantry
later you can change their class from calvalry or cannon or priest or mage. kind of like old skol game,1 base class that keep change job to more powerful class

if you focus on your character only,this is not your game. i got a friend that play only tutorial then quit bec said this is some generic without even try commanding troops at battlefield
early level.....kinda easy.just solo all the way with your troops till last mission in ebt.....literally hard

Publisher MMOG could have release it this March,but somehow Blueside push it back to April to give way for Thailand publisher to run its own language cbt(if correct).

Anyways,MMOG has confirmed KUfii will be opened to players somewhere in April next month.

On the other hand, the CBT is from 6th to 9th. Only 3 days... not sure if its worth the time/bandwidth to d/load it

If the client can be carried over onto obt then its worth the download,but if not then its a waste of my money,bandwidth and time to just re-download it all again.
