Your wheelbearing is very cheap then. Honda will charge you RM850 if you replace at service center rite?

my friend few years back using 2.0, and he sold it after e use for 3 years cause of noisy sound when the car speed go above 100kmh++ is it true?

means the car soundproof poor?

Maybe your fren is talking about the "wooong wooong wooong" sound coming from the back of the car . The sound will increase propotionally to the travelling speed of the car. That's the common wheel bearing issue with civic FD/

my friend's car is fully original, no modify at all, also got the sound, he said what... tyre sound and the wind sound also can hear after 100kmh+

and I also got ask my other friend who do car accessories business, he said this sound for civic cannot be solve, means even you stick the extra soundproof at the car, the sound still can hear.. I'm not sure about this just curious hmm.gif  (hope you get what I mean)

is there a way to fix it?

Try to ask EA autoworks and see. Maybe they can do ... depending on the amount of money you can spare.
But stock civic FD sound proof really sux for a RM110+k~ RM130+k car...That's for sure.
But if you want something quiet from factory, camry is more suitable then.

i'm sharing some of my past experience with the FD2 two years ownership.

Overall the car is very good, reliable and no issues on my 2 years of ownership (probably its still new).

The main reason i let go the car after 2 years is because of the fuel consumption. A full tank of approx 45 litre only get me for 320km which translates to 7km/litre for a Civic. Yes some may say maybe it is my driving issue but same driving style and same route on my current Golf can get me 11km/litre. The difference is just too huge.

With the fuel price now already at RM2.10 and possible to increase again some time this year, you may have to take the fuel consumption into consideration. Maintenance wise it is fine, you wont get wrong with Honda and Toyota here.

I drove FD1 for a week only and it gives around 10km/L for BHP RON95 for city driving . The 2.0L one so bad ar ?? shocking.gif I tot is almost the same. Comparing to which kind of Golf for 11km/ L ??? 1.4TSI MK7 ??

civic 1.6 available in Singapore and 2.4 in US.
COde name FD is only in Malaysia?
*
Read here and here

Singapore has 1.6L FD4 because the COE is cheaper for 1.6L and below cars. That is also y Malaysia most sellable Toyota Altis is 1.8L but in Singapore all you see on the road is 1.6L .

US Civic is not the same as the Civic we're getting here.

FD is not only in Malaysia. But other countries as well, can google ...
