the P1Y is just a DSP... many mid-range HU also has it
while the HX-D2 , u mean the DC-DC converter? 8455 is not a pure deck, it has got 3 way active x-o, EQ, TA, DSP, 8v output, copper body just not to forget.... top of the range for eclipse at 2005...how bad u expect it to be ? This post has been edited by driftmeister: Jul 9 2006, 12:08 PM |

copper deck means the HU body/cover is using copper
(this is to prevent external interference according to some other expert) pure deck means it's just a CD "player" CD "transporter" without DSP, TA, X-O, EQ,internal amp and wat so ever a good example for copper pure deck is Eclipse CD8051/8061 This post has been edited by driftmeister: Jul 11 2006, 07:50 PM |
