Not sure why there is still chemica smell, though we have gone through quite a number of functions in SEH, day and night..

Anyhow, following is some information about Ngo Chew Hong, producing edible oil loh...

I am not sure what's the capacity of the two mentioned maintenance activities that will lead to the sting smell until the whole PARC area and the vicinity. Nevertheless, I just want to jot down a few points that maybe worth for us to have some detailed consideration:

1.) Ngo Chew Hong has been established in Semenyih since 1981 and if there is serious air pollution by this factory, the surrounding community (Bandar Rinching, Bandar Tasik Kesuma, Pelangi Semenyih, etc) should already raise up the protest in the past. So far i am not aware of it, perhaps if you happen to see such incident before, please share with us here.

2.) Ngo Chew Hong is certified for RSPO Mass Balance Supply Chain Certification System (SCCS), which should be complying with some environmental protection measures.

3.) A dedicated and reputable developer like SPS definitely have conducted the site environmental analysis before implementing the project. Potential of air pollution, water pollution, impact on the fauna and flora has been analyzed before. I presume SPS already aware of Ngo Chew Hong even before implementing the project, back to the year 2011. Look at part f for more detail.

Well, air pollution is very subjective I presume and hard to gauge by simple layman. Unless there is some solid evidence from some professional body about the pollution index, otherwise it just a matter that will be going round and round without any solid conclusion...
