get feedback from LG g2 HK user, that is noise issue after upgraded KK. the noise issue very obvious specially using earphone.
*
I can confirm this. It doesn't happen on low impedance earphones such as Apple Earpods, and LG stock earphones.

so bro, is good to go for eat kk and that is not really big effect?
*
I think it's still worth to upgrade to KK despite the audio issues, as the earphones I'm using are fine. Even the Shure 215SPE works great.

What noise are they talking about? music or phone? I used mine so far no noise.
*
It's kind of like a hiss sound. Only have this problem if you use an earphone/headphone. Any music player will have this problem. I didn't try calling people using the earphone though.

I see, thanks guys! another question is is it ok to charge using 2.1A charger?
*
It'll be fine. Sometimes I use my iPad charger (2A) to charge my LG G2.

My understanding is that the phone will not take-in more than what it's designed for. GSam Battery Monitor will tell you the charging current.

Using either 2A charger or 1.8A charger, the max the phone can take is only about 1600ma (1.6A).

It will not affect your battery life.

PC USB port max output is about 500ma. Again, you can use the app to check. Which is why using PC USB port will take a very long time to charge our phone.

Snapdragon has fast charge. I think if enable it u can charge at max current. I tried before on s4 with snapdragon 600. 1.9a . Blazing fast.

G2 ori charger how many A output?
*
1.8A.

Better to use the phone as a phone. Use it as you wish. Battery will degrade over time whether you use it carefully or not. Also, sure you guys will change to a new phone in a year or so.

Any idea why even after I change the notification tone of the system, when I check my credit balance the notification doesn't change? it's like stuck one one "notification sound" only.. I might try factory reset if nothing can be done.
*
This is common for HK firmware (I believe TW firmware also have this problem). Nothing we can do about it, other than flashing other country's firmware.

SEA and MYS doesn't have this problem.

Bought yesterday at SevenMobile. Bought with and for my fiancee.

First go to DirectD, but so many people bcoz of promotion. And the RM1,399.00 stock has finished.

Later go to SevenMobile, tokey said Black RM1,399.00 but no stock and offer Red for same price. Grab it quickly since that's the color my fiancee want.

So, my question is:

Is it really not recommended to update to Kit Kat yet? You know, since this phone my fiancee use. So, I don't her facing any issue.
*
I had been using KitKat since the first update. No issues so far. Battery life has been great, no hang issues. The only problem is the hiss in the audio on headphones.

I also updated without factory reset. Just continue to use as is. Am using HK set bought from 1G last year October.

On an unrelated note, I factory reset my phone (I didn't reset after I upgraded to KitKat, and had been using it just like that), and found out:

1. USSD no longer gives annoying "Life is Good" tone, but there's a soft music playing instead (it's non-stop!)
2. USB Audio (if you're into audio stuff), works again! Previously not working.
3. Earphones/headphones still got noise. sad.gif

Still enjoying my LG G2! smile.gif
