Samsung cables are not the best IMHO.
My S3, Note 2s came with bad cables. Plugged into 2A charger, the S3 cable could only output 300mA, Note 2 cables I had 4. It varies from 600 to 1100 mA.
However with my Galaxy W cable it was able to output 1.7A! And the Belkin cable could pass 1.8A easily, sometimes 1.9A
