There's an option in 11c software to change it slightly smaller but then again , anything smaller need to be rooted to make it slimmer

From what I know . You're on international version , stock ? Do u have the option cuz I flashed mine to custom the minute i get it b4 exploring .

get Glass M. fits well. Also I am using a Diztronic matte black casing over it. Combo works good! phone protected and still looks slim

ps:flashing kdz will make your phone back to stock, meaning all files inside (eg. photo) will be cleared as well.

firmware D80220d-HKG-XX still havent got kitkat yet

isn't ota update usually goes by batch/stages? i mean perhaps your g2 is of a later batch so you will have to give it a day or 2. the same was with my n7 2013 when kit kat first launched. i waited till day 3 before receiving the new update

i believe you can also get the update file online (xda prob) and sideload it
