Dont feel the gold is really nice , reminds me of Asus Infinity champagne color . With a case on it , cant see much since front is all black . But it did look nice on pic

4G sorcery hahaha. I was on Umobile and was disappointed with the 2G/3G coverage here in Melaka and my hometown. Changed to Celcom, much better. As an added bonus, their 4G coverage here is pretty good too.

I heard S5 is coming out on 24 Feb? Should I wait for the G2 price drop or just pick one up in 2-3 days?

I don't know when G3/G Pro 2 is coming out and no, I'm not going to wait for the other new phones coming out, just the S5. I might as well wait until Doomsday if I'm waiting for other new phones because it won't just end. Just asking is it worth it to wait for S5 since it's coming out in few days later.

EDIT: I mean is it worth it to wait until S5 comes out so G2 price would drop.

G Pro 2 is out in Korea while G3 is expect in May ..... Ya , screw it . Buy 1st , when it comes out only decide if u wanna keep or sell .     

Bought the white version to match with my desktop 
RM1709 total (phone = RM1629 + Tempered Glass screen protector RM80)
Bought at around 5pm with 80% power, I did played around with it for 30 minutes (downloaded apps, speedtest, camera test etc.). Then went home but was raining, sheltered inside Tesco Ampang, and played with it some more at KFC 

Now the battery left is around 41%, really loving it!

But I forgot to ask the seller should I charge 8 hours or not for first time charging, anyone?

G pro 2 ? Belum beli , mahal gila . Price should drop month end .
that's the disadvantage of using Glass SP that covers full screen including bezel . The side of the phone , bezel , is curved while your Glass SP is flat so it doesnt stick at the curved area .

Buy G2 mini then...

G2 Pro? or G pro 2? i got a little confused on their series. HOpefully, Lg realize this problem.

My story. Tried flashing Black Pearl ROM using Philz Touch. I already wiped and didn't backup the old ROM. Then turned out i can't flash because the Black Pearl wipe script is not up to date and won't work with Philz. In the end, i end up buying a USB OTG cable, copy TWRP on it and flash it. Then i can flash Black Pearl ROM.

It doesn't end there. After flashing the ROM, tried restoring Titanium Backup but it got stuck at Poweramp. Rebooted and it got stuck at Android Upgrading. Took me a while to get back to Recovery. So i cleared data. Now it ask to flash OTA update. So i pressed install update. Turns out to be a big mistake. Now it's stuck in Recovery boot loop. Luckily there's a solution for that on XDA and now i'm back on Dirty Unicorn.

But i think the Black Pearl dev probably fixed this problem already.

Hopefully some of that feature will be available on G2. Else i guess someone will definitely port it. 

If you're flashing a different kernel then yes, after flashing the ROM then the kernel. Else just use whatever that comes with the ROM.

I read that some guy got 10 hours SOT on XDA. No idea how long can you get on the G2 with your setup. Have you tried? Didn't bother to UV and UC yet.

Just replace my Sony Z Ultra 4g with G2 2days ago. Amazing phone.

Much smoother, much faster, much effective

Here's my G3 wishlist:
1. 3300mAh battery
2. Yep somehow tweak the rear buttons
3. This will add more bezel so maybe won't happen
4. Of course
5. 5.3", 2k, even slimmer bezel
6. 4K already available with latest camera mod. S800 is already capable. Don't we already have OIS? Unlike Sony which is digital IS. Hybrid AF would be welcomed but a 1/2.3" sensor & f2 lens would be awesome.
7. S805, 4GB RAM, International Radios
8. Clean and maybe less plasticky, slippery and creaky. Polycarbonate would be ok but aluminum would be even better.
9. More optimized and streamlined software.

G flex? wow... what's ur comment for this 2 phone?
