Actually it does make sense, cause traffic in Malaysia is the same as in Europe. People drive slow on the right lane and overtake on the left...

I have once seen a left hand drive Citroen Berlingo for sale in Malaysia, probably brought along by an expat. So I guess it can be done...

it can be done but seriously why put yourself in a left hand drive car
you will encounter a lot of problem mate
TnG topup = only at counter
Paying parking charges - you gonna wish you have co driver
overtaking -same as above
drive thru - no

so you still wanna drive a left hand drive car?
unless you have multiple other cars, left hand drive car in malaysia just doesn't work

Ah thanks just asking on behalf of my friend, he has a car in UAE and was thinking to bring it in.
I once saw a red sticker written left hand drive before so thought i can find some info here.
Didn't think much about the consequences, thanks for sharing =D

The rule still same?

I am thinking of bringing LHD car on the Malaysia's Returning Expert Programme.
But not sure if I am able to. If not, I might need to swap the car to RHD before transferring.

I'm sure there are exemptions which allow you to do so, but why!? Isn't it a pure hassle?
