I wake up late, didnt get the chance to watch 1st half, but for 2nd half...OMG, what an eye sore, Utd playing like malaysia league style, def need loop ball forward most if the time, mid almost non existence. Most noticable, our forward damn teruk 1st touch and finishing, no skill at all doh.gif

haha at least u managed to watch the penalty kick 'fun'. mine was a total borefest 1st half. if my memory serves me well, the whole first half man utd managed to get maybe 1 or 2 shots on taget. only. with a couple of wild half chance shots that hit the bars. switched off the tv. went to sleep. best decision so far this week lol.

Does the Mata transfer sound like last time Veron transfer to Chelsea?

I think you need to read again my statement. Oh by the way, I am a MU fan, and as "heartbreaking" this loss be, I am not even disappointed.

Well, he can be a Veron, or a Van Persie. We will only know at the end of the season (please not a Fellaini though).

well, Veron was a total flop, and Mata is twice PFA player of the season. tongue.gif

anyways, Mata isnt exactly the player that we need the most. But i feel this is similar to Ozil's transfer to Arsenal. Arsenal lost the opening home match against Villa, and the fans wanted Arsene to go. Arsernal didnt really need another midfielder because they have pretty good midfielders already (cazorla, rosicky, wilshere, etc) but big names transfer like Ozil certainly helped to ease the tension and brought the team back to their winning ways.

the only possible way is for moyes to change his tactic and formation. kenot play 4-4-2 liao (unless he wanna keep on rotating the squad like what he's doing right now)

if mata masuk, then moyes need to revamp his/fergie tactics liao. kenot use 2 wingers main crossing crossing all the time.

must play thru mid more.

if not, he will rotate mata and kagawa like how he's rotating everyone in the squad doh.gif today young, tomorrow valencia. next week smalling, the week after rafael.

watched the match early in the morning. miraculously managed to watch the whole first half before i decided to switch my tv off before i managed to throw my remote control onto the screen. was a good decision because man utd eventually lost the match doh.gif

awful awful game. terrible passings, even passing to the back also very inaccurate. smalling had to chase loose balls at the back like he was a full back even though he played CB. doh.gif

saw the formation setup prior to the match, man utd playing 4-2-3-1
i thought to myself 'wah, finally moyes gonna play thru mid more.' i was wrong. no different than the old, predictable, 1 dimensional 4-4-2

high 5! choose to sleep rather than watch.. best decision haha. i eventually watched the whole match till 90 min.. For first time, yeah first time if my memory right, i didn't continue watching anymore, as I need more sleep. But this is mainly because as it's the same old poor display again... heading for defeat..

Since World Cup is coming, I guess Mata desperately want to leave Chelsea, unless last minutes Mourinho make a u-turn and promise him for more first team action. I think is high possible he will join us,unless he homesick and go join Ahletico, just a matter of how much we going pay for him.

IF Mata really join us, hope Moyes can have 2 formations to use.

Traditional 4-4-2

Valencia/Nani Carrick Cleverley/Jones/Fellaini Young/Januzaj

Rooney RVP

Or 4-2-3-1

Carrick Cleverley/Jones/Fellaini

Rooney Kagawa Mata

RVP.

3 AMC roam around/switch position around to confuse opponents.

Not sure how true is the news saying Chelsea accepted the bid and Mata going to undergo medical by today. Just hope for the best. nod.gif

That's why i wondering, why still playing 4-4-2, we got Mata and Kagawa now and Rooney and VP will be back. Deploy playing 4-2-3-1 flex.gif
