defeated by sunderland in OT really? cant go lower anymore

moyes really mid table coaches, that always make sense

Not defeated. They "beat" Sunderland 2-1. But the ghost of the first leg haunted them - and they paid the price with the penalty heartbreak.

Just one question - is he eligible for our CL matches (if he signs)?

Hopefully, he can be the springboard to at least a 4th place finish. A CL trophy would be a huge bonus.

he played in cl for chelsea already this season

I watched the first half only. We are attacking but seems like in control even Sunderland defense quite organised.

Evans got opportunity to score and took it well. After that i tot gg, what happens?

One thing puzzled me was how come Welbeck playing behind Hernandez?

But if my memory serves me right, you are only "cup-tied" in the group stages of CL. Once it goes to the knockout stages, you can submit another new list of players? Am I correct? hmm.gif

Moving forward sad.gif can't say anything a loss is a loss sad.gif hope Mata news can cheer us up.

When is Rooney and VP will be back? After Mata in, where will be Kagawa playing. I really cannot brain Moyes tactic, Kagawa sometime left and sometime middle.

What Moyes want sad.gif

Subbing off Kagawa was completely wrong. We were actually playing through the middle till then and he was playing well. I feel for him if Mata ends up joining, I don't know what's going to happen. He deserves better. However, today none of our players apart from maybe Januzaj played with any confidence.

We blame Moyes for plenty, but both the players today were more to blame. I watched the whole game and the skill level was shocking at times. This IS Moyes's fault, players are no longer motivated to play under him. The finishing was terrible, those PKs were beyond embarrassing, and de gea really let the team down.

Conclusion
This team needs major rebuilding. Hernandez, Wellbeck, Valencia, Carrick, Evra, Ferdinand, Young, Buttner, Nani.Cleverley all need to go. The Glazers will now be put to the test and I don't think they will impress me; just like that shambolic performance tonight. City would destroy us in the final.

Oh yea, since we already doom our season by not sacking Moyes.
Just give him until the end of the season to see how badly he will continue to screw up. Come summer, please sack him. MOYESOUT!

patience growing really thin with moyes. i thought kagawa played decently and he sub him out. valencia come in, almost no chance created for whole second half.

just like first leg.. midway through second half, the way the team is playing.. its certainly looks like heading to defeat. evans goal is almost like lucky goal with so few chances created.

With Ed Woodward working on transfer... there is 99% chances the deal could collapse...

Ok... still positive thinking... we still can win UCL!

if mata masuk, then moyes need to revamp his/fergie tactics liao. kenot use 2 wingers main crossing crossing all the time.

must play thru mid more.

if not, he will rotate mata and kagawa like how he's rotating everyone in the squad doh.gif today young, tomorrow valencia. next week smalling, the week after rafael.

watched the match early in the morning. miraculously managed to watch the whole first half before i decided to switch my tv off before i managed to throw my remote control onto the screen. was a good decision because man utd eventually lost the match doh.gif

awful awful game. terrible passings, even passing to the back also very inaccurate. smalling had to chase loose balls at the back like he was a full back even though he played CB. doh.gif

saw the formation setup prior to the match, man utd playing 4-2-3-1
i thought to myself 'wah, finally moyes gonna play thru mid more.' i was wrong. no different than the old, predictable, 1 dimensional 4-4-2
