Originally set my eyes to get hrv but heard and read too much how good is xv and went for test drive of XV 2016 premium. The simplicity/classy of interior and superior car handling surprised me. Also, SC that I went for test drive didn't limit or predefined my driving route, which allows me to enjoy the whole experience. I'm sold.

I would like to find out the best offer. The SC quoted 138k before discount of 5k for 2016 premium. Is this the best offer? How much did you get? Do pm if that's more comfortable for you.

Test drove both CX-5 and the Forester last weekend. Was offered really big discount on the forester 2.0i that makes it price really attractive. Between 120k-130k. Anyone wants to share the offer that they get from their SA?

I can live with the interior of the Forester as it is quite decent and the legroom on that second row......top of its class.

Update:
Tested sport mode. Pickup punch came immediately after pressing accelerateor but fuel consumption expected to be high. On average at 80km/h rpm reached 2000. Using SI mode drive gently and no hard acceleration, one could achieve near to 13km/l. Looked back at the acceleration mode indicator, SI mode the rpm increased almost linearly untill reached optimum and maintain flat onwards. In the contrary Soport mode, rpm increased exponentially in early stage and reached optimum level early. The optimum level for both SI and Sport are the same, the different is SI reaches later.

Using SI to overtake a car is not recommended. One can use this method in SI mode to overtake a car, switch to manual gear shifting and use paddle shift. After that switch back to auto again.

went for 5k service & test drive forester for fun. 
considering it has the same engine as XV but with a much heavier body, it doesn't show any sluggishness but seems like more responsive & smoother feel than XV.

its a dashboard polisher and i just used it once with one way wipe only.. not like i gosok2 every week. haha

I tried 2 placed. They said no stock on 89k xv but they offer me the XV PREMIUM ( which is not STI and SPORT ) version.

yup, ask my installer to bypass it when i replaced the front speakers and add an amp and subwoofer last Saturday.  A bit regret to get the 12" subwoofer, kinda too big for the XV's boot.    10" will be just nice with the woofer box.  Should have measure the height of the boot.  I am considering asking the accessories shop to custom made a wooden cover to replace the existing boot cover and take away all those sponges.  Those useless sponges raise the floor of the boot for about 2 inches without any benefit. 

I think it is the same green wire.  Did you take the correct end of the wire.  After you cut it, there is 2 ends. Make sure you are connecting to the right one.

Yup, i believe that is why Subaru CVT gearbox can last long due to extra oil in it to protect. Compare to others which only have 4L..

But the disadvantage is more expensive a bit during fluid change. For me i rather invest in better extra fluid change compare to gearbox easy ko in future due to less fluid to protect..

It should be a generic one from the warehouse/factory right?
