Hey guys,

I am actually planning to buy the Armageddon Aquila X5 due to its attractive price for a gaming mouse.

I just want to ask if anyone of you are using the said mouse and can give me your reviews or thoughts about

the mouse before I purchase it. How is the brand Armageddon in general? Are their products reliable?

Do you guys have any problems with their products?

Thanks a lot guys!

Last time i purchased Armageddon Phantom because they have promotion. Quality is average. Reliability isn't that great (I used this for less than a month before the scroll wheel broken). IMHO, better go for more reliable manufacturer.

Don't buy it if there is no promotion price. It's not worth the full price, but best friend bought an Armageddon wireless mouse, it looks cool.

As mentioned above the quality and reliability is poor. Bad experience with it. The only thing good about this brand is it looks cool only.

The software is poor too with little support

What mouse are you using at the moment? Well, I just thought that since I could get a gaming mouse for a cheap price as compared to

the other gaming brands like Razer - why not? But based on feedback from you guys it sounds like Armageddon is not reliable at all.

I guess I will have to try other brands then. Do you guys have any suggestions on which brand is good for gaming mouse?

I initially wanted to go for Razer's Death Adder, but after scouting the forums for people's feedback and review it seems Razer's

products isn't that reliable either.

Thanks for your feedback guys. Do let me know what you guys think! Appreciate it!

How about Logitech G400 or G300? Both are gaming mouse and in the same price range, which cost about RM80

Are the mice you recommended good? I know that Logitech is well-known for their reliability and quality.

I will be using the gaming mouse for mostly Dota and FPS games. Do you think the mice are suited to my needs?

A lot of my friends are asking me to get Razer Mice (Death Adder) as they said it is designed for gamers.

However, I am not convinced based on that reason alone since a lot of LYN members claim that Razer's products are

not reliable. Thanks for your response!

How much did you buy the Dragunov gaming mouse? I looked around the net for the Logitech Mice which amxpayne67 recommended

and I took a liking to both G400 and G500. However, at Logitech's website I saw complains there in regards to the mice being of poor

quality. Anyone here has had any experience with any of the mice G400 or G500? I know that this is off topic as my topic is of Armageddon's

mouse but I don't think I should be opening so many threads just to ask different questions. If it is against forum policy please do let

me know and I will open a new thread. Thanks guys!

the G400 is good (if you still can find it as they have now refresh it to the G400S) , probably the best mice you can find for under RM100. The build quality is good and the sensor is accurate too. It's a palm grip mouse so in my case it fits perfectly with my hand.

If you're a claw grip kind of gamer, you should try have a look at CM Storm Spawn or CM Storm Xornet. They are both the same design but the Spawn has a higher DPi configuration. the price of this mices is fairly inexpensive.

Thanks for your feedback! I guess I will look around for the G400S in Lowyat this weekend then. How about the G500? It's a laser

mouse with the same designs with G400. Should I consider the G500? Another question to ask, since I am going to get a mouse

I thought of getting a keyboard as well. Anyone of you guys used the Razer BlackWidow before? I have been checking the prices

and it is by far the cheapest mechanical keyboard that I came across. A lot of reviews online states that the BlackWidow is worthwhile

to buy. I was wondering if anyone of you have used it before and have any comments/feedbacks about it. Any other mechanical

keyboards that I should take into consideration?

Thanks!

I'm assuming its the blackwidow tournament edition which is the tenkeyless version of the blackwidow ultimate (The BWU is price around RM400++). The build quality is alright I suppose, it's cherry mx blue and it's quite portable. It doesn't have backlit only the razer logo will light up.

I suggest if you want to look at Mechanical keyboard price around RM 300++ , better have a look at CM Storm Quickfire series (the cheapest is the quickfire rapid) and you can choose different switches whichever that you like, also just saw in the garage sale section Ducky Zero being sell @ around RM299, should try to check that out wink.gif

Thanks for the reply alfiejr! Yes, I meant the Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition. Yes, I saw the Ducky Zero selling for RM 299 as

well, as opposed to the BlackWidow which is about RM 269. The price difference is about RM 30. I know that at the end of the day

it depends on preference but in terms of reliability and quality, which is superior? Razer BlackWidow or Ducky Zero?

As for the mouse, I will most likely be going for the Logitech G400S as I feel that an optical mouse should suffice based on my needs

compared to a laser mouse after reading up on Optical vs Laser mouse. Thanks for your help alfiejr!

Sorry for late reply, the G400 is the refresh version of the legendary MX518. Now they have the new G400S. To be honest i do have both G400 and G500. .

Oh okay, thanks! I will lookout if they have any discounts then. When do they usually have promotions? PC Fair or occasionally on Lowyat?

Oh wow! Then what would your suggestion be for me? I mean since you have both optical and laser mouse, which do you think is preferable?

For serious gaming, IMHO i prefer G500. But for less serious/intense optical will do just fine. Dont worry optical mouse will satisfy you, the sensor is good.

Below RM150 combo = Logitech combo G100 gaming Link Here
Below RM350 and RM500 =It's a subjective choice because at this budget you can choose quite a lot of product, and need to specify what kind of game and what kind of usage. The budget can cover a mech keyboard with decent laser mouse

if you want accuracy u should opt for real gaming mouse , not those fancy shits with blinky light,

3200 cpi is max i would go

for optical buy black/grey colored mouse mat

the mouse listed are with low angle snapping

lastly if you play very low dpi some mice below are not suitable

cheap optical mouse
old logitech g400
cm storm xornet, spawn
steelseries kana v2
deathadder 3.5
logitech g300
kinzu v2

cheap laser mice
gigabyte m6900, M6980X
