BR deserves credit for winning at stoke.Something which previous managers have failed to do.

The entire midfield was at fault for the goals.
Contrary to popular opinion joe allen is not the solution to this problem.
FSG must spend soon and fast.

Gerrard has the capabilities to be a dm.In fact he can be one of the best dm around. The only problem is whether he can curb his instincts to go forward at times which will leave the defence exposed.

Transfers or rather the lack of it have been really disappointing so far.

This is the best chance to cement top 4 place or if luck favouring a title challenge.I am suspecting it is FSG who are reluctant to spend.

The most susceptible player in the team is lucas.
Hasn't been to his best and I think should be back up for gerrard.

SAS to win the game but benteke against skrtel toure is a major cause for concern.

Lets not forget villa won 3-1 at anfield last season.

Good news is one competitor for fourth place is gone thanks to chelsea.
It is up to lfc to beat the crap out of everton and claim fourth.

I reckon it will be neck to neck between liverpool and spurs.

What happened to sakho? Wasn't he back in training?
Skrtel toure pairing against everton will kill off whatever chance lfc has in winning the derby.

There is the best time to pull away in top 4 race.6 pointer against everton and tottenham are playing man city which i expect city to win.

Time for the players to absorb the pressure and deliver without relying on SAS all the time.

The game last night showed that allen is not needed at lfc anymore.Hopefully he leaves soon.such a waste of money.

I think he is good for backup

I dont think he is even good for that.Always injured and always needing time to settle.
Alberto is a much better player with vision and creativity.

I have some uneasy feeling with signing konoplyanka due to past failures of voronin and jovanovic.Even shevcenkho didn't do well in epl.

Konoplayanka better not turn out to be another jovanovic and voronin.

I am sure there are better players out there for the same price.

I cant think of any soviet union player who has done well in epl.

If konoplyanka turns out as good as he's supposed to be,then maybe a title challenge is on the cards.City play chelsea on monday and arsenal have to visit anfield next week.
Maybe...Just maybe.....

There's always a positive to everything.I doubt salah or konoplyanka would have massively improved the current team.Sterling has been playing really well.

It would take someone like mata or hazard to displace sterling from the team.

The midfield however is a completely different story.

The calibre of midfielders that lfc should targetting are the ones like pastore, fernando,m'vila and lucas moura.Unfortunately their prices are really high and with fsg and that failure ayre around, the club was always going to be forced to look for bargain buys.

I rather not spend than get bargain buys like aspas, assaidi or borini.

I am prophet from Zimbabwe and i predict ManU finished above Pool! GGMU!

There is a good chance of that happening if allen comes back straight into the team and starts regularly.

Todays results mean nothing if west brom win or draw tomorrow.
As usual it's up to SAS to the win the game.
