its normal coz u use matrix/evaluative metering and the camera try to 'save' the bright tone from the windows, in this case u can try fill flasha little, or set to spot metering and meter on the face anyway

as far as i know, adjusting brgihtness/contrast/curves in photoshop/corel is less better. printing machie can adjust more accurate than pc, seriously its better, u just ask the tokei kedai do for u.

thats a reason i doesnt adjust my pics, i'm prefer in raw shots.neway TQ...

I particular like this wedding although it was quite crowded but the event is quite well planned as few weddings I have been ... the long queue for food, meeting the couples and quality of the food .. list goes on smile.gif

No comment for my pic? sad.gif

Which pic in particular? Some pic was took from quite a distance tongue.gif As I did snapped with flash but the color and composition wont turn out so natural. It's looks too yellowish blink.gif

hahaha, i just hav three weddings shot only, cant contribute more than so far...

my dad gets alot of offer during school break, soooo many, dats why a reason i jump to wedding fotographer sumtimes...

i just read in DCM magazine, turn ur flash up 45degree, set manual.. it diffuesd the shadow, but i need practice alot. id tried b4, but onli several are nice, most of them are overexposed, depends on ur lens also...

I have set the flash quite weak as well. But still it made the pic overexposed because the place was brightly lit up with spotlights biggrin.gif

These pics were snapped with filler flash.

Might be I need set the flash to be weaker as the sculpture was lit inside so I wanted to get the light inside also tongue.gif

So you be the judge which 1 is more nicer?

u really need to tweek the curve. Usually people when printing, we dun adjust the brightness or anything at the printing. Much are done at the computer. When you see that your picture appear to be brighter than printings, it means that ur monitor is not calibrated correctly. Look for gammar corrections in google.

Also, you need more composition/ planning before the shootings. The charactors look dull.

Design for the coffee table album is too old school. You could try take a look at the wedding forum in clubsnap.org

oh ya one more thing, Nikon SLR photos are usually underexposed if u base on the baseline for the exposure compensation. you need to +2 or do a reading from the histogram.

It's good, depending on the kind of clients you have. If you wanna make a living out of wedding photography, you must be choosy. In wedding photography, the client NEEDS you, not the other way round.

very interesting rendition, but you need to get the bride to smile more. It's her day as a permaisuri after all!! and need to see the groom's face a little bit in the second photo. then only equal as we can see the bride's face.
