u really need to tweek the curve. Usually people when printing, we dun adjust the brightness or anything at the printing. Much are done at the computer. When you see that your picture appear to be brighter than printings, it means that ur monitor is not calibrated correctly. Look for gammar corrections in google.

Also, you need more composition/ planning before the shootings. The charactors look dull.

Design for the coffee table album is too old school. You could try take a look at the wedding forum in clubsnap.org

oh ya one more thing, Nikon SLR photos are usually underexposed if u base on the baseline for the exposure compensation. you need to +2 or do a reading from the histogram.
