hey guys i've graduated as a multimedia grad since like jan.. and still cant find a job.. maybe i'm lazy

but anyway, wat kinda jobs can we get? since multimedia isnt a specialized field.. so we dont have any specialty, most of our skills are.. rather standard.. so wat can we really work as?

we cant be better than ppl who graduate from graphic design, cant be better than ppl who graduated from 3d animation and all that.. sigh.. susah betul...

learn do website lo.. free lance lo... a lot of animation now needed.. construction line all need for their presentation

Im a multimedia grad as well. But then it depends again..multimedia in using application...or..multimedia as in developing multimedia applications. I majored in the earlier mentioned one..but ended up doing both. So u need to make sure u got something extra that u can offer your boss

after finish study only want to know what you studied can be applied as what ar?

i use applications ler.. no developing.. lol i suck at programming.. even this multimedia course i did oso.. lol almost barely made it..
got learn photoshop illustrator 3dmax premiere flash all those lar.. video editting sound editting.. but i not really good loooo

i sure they hire IT people as the movie we download over the net are the same with their...

they just need IT ppl to repackage it....

multimedia such a wide scope.. anyway when we first finish spm alot of us dunno wat to study.. so just simply study..

To be honest and frank stop complaining so much and do something about it. Lounging in lowyat.net.forum all day isnt going to make companies or clients hire you. The market is booming with fresh grads (120,000 unemployed to be exact : Statistics from the STAR newspaper) who are all like this. I'm a college student who studies design and I can juggle both work and school. Problem is you show no self intiative and lack of interest and this can be seen from your replies. You only give excuses where you cant do anything and your mum is pressuring you. Only when you are pressured then you expect things to fall in your lap, and now we wonder why we have so many unemployed graduates.

I think you are more into design of the multimedia field? Just go apply for graphic design job. The basic one should be okay for you because they usually emphasize on the knowledge and skill of software, more than the design itself.

Video editing and sound editing also not bad if you know where to look for these jobs. For animation, well, I think you need to master on certain subject of it, such as 2D animation, 3D modelling, etc.

Just keep looking and never stop applying!
